If they said the same in the GPs it would make sense to me. They're both the best riders in the world, and saying "some of the best riders in the world" just doesn't sound right.

It just makes the USA look silly in the eyes of the rest of the world when we have to keep hearing certain Americans repeat over and over and over and over and over that "the best riders in the world" are riding the AMA MX series. Just let it go Mr. Weigandt, please. Thanks to RV, even the American public has now clearly seen the level of the riders in the Grand Prix series. It just makes the Americans look desperate to hear such comments.
Let me guess...you just had your 16th birthday. Give it a rest guys. I realize some of you thrive on making posts that you feel will get you attention, but it has just become stale and stupid. In other words; GROW UP.

Do you not consider Roczen, Musquin, Pourcel, Noren some of the best riders in the world? Do you also not consider Dungey, Bagget, Tomac and Canard also some of the best riders in the world?

Not biased if the series has riders from both sides of the pond competing. The MXGP is great racing as well, but very few Americans actually go over there. We get a lot more to cross and join our series. So they must think we are doing something right.

I think the main problem is, a lot of you hate America with a passion and turn everything into a you vs us debate.

Get over it, and enjoy the racing! Both series are awesome to spectate.

oh wait, they never do that..
They are the best riders in the world , thats why they get a World Championship for winning it.

Racing pretty dull again, i just dont get why its so spread out ... too much 'riding my own race going on'

They may or may not be the best riders in the world, but the title they win is called the World Championship because that is what the FIM calls it.

And no other reason.

I'd say the fact that they race around the world is a pretty valid reason to call it that.

You are stupid. There is no SX in Europe.

I think you are just trolling. Like 70% of the people at vital forums.

If it is a supercross track, yes. We are the best. There is now more to riding than just outdoors, if you want a future, you have to be able to rave sx. Gp guy can't do it as well.

Nope. Not trolling. Not my issue there isn't sx over there. It wasn't here either, then we got it. There is more to riding than just outdoors.

There is no SX championship over here so no, there isn't more to riding than just outdoors for the GP riders. To say riders are less talented for not being as good at a series they don't even have is just plain stupid.

I like how you didn't point of the fact that GP commentators say the exact same thing.... I guess it's only fucking problem when Americans commentators say it. Dry

to the OP turn down the volume, if you don't like it that's what I do when Malin is running his yap about how great the GP s are.
I think many of the Euros around here just have a strong dislike for anything America. Why?? maybe because of what is here, Unbelievable tracks, awesome amateur local level racing and 50 states worth of epic off-road riding. Are you even allowed to ride dirt bikes over there anymore?

Did you not watch the GP of Qatar where RV went 9-8?

It may have escaped your notice, but Europeans won half of the motos at Muddy Creek today, same at GH, your reigning MX champ is European and one of the 250 titles this year was dominated by a European. I'd say they can hang just fine

Your wife said I was the best in the world last night. Didn't really think anything of it. It's just a statement bro, calm down and move along.

Way off subject, but don't forget that today is the 74th anniversary of D-Day. As much as we bitch back and forth between the series, that shit is so fucking minuscule when you really think about it. Peace to my fellow moto lovin freaks.
