The kid and his family are super nice people and he has some serious talent. I hope he does well this weekend. Good luck to the Frye family this weekend.

Good luck to Frye! Very nice family. Caught a whiff of his race fuel for about .35 seconds as he blew my doors off at budds creek a few months ago at an open practice.

He's never raced a national so he's never earned points that would allow him a two digit number. And Jesse Nelson already has the number 28.

He must be ready, no pro sport or A... @ The ranch... Looks like he's 16 & ready for the big leagues...

He went fifth & eighth overall last year in 250B stock & mod... He has one national title...

That's the way some districts used to do it, but not sure Pro is like that. My Pro number was not the same as my last three.

I've seen him race 5-6 times over the past year, and as recently as two weeks ago. I'm not sure this is a good idea. Seems a little premature to me.

I've known the Frye family since Alex was on 50's, and it's been cool to follow his progression. Very nice family and another Maryland rider that can really make some noise. Right now Tony Archer is the only one really making it.

Wish him the best. If he can put it in the top 20 that would be a solid debut. He has got the speed, just needs to eliminate the stupid mistakes.

It's not. In the pros you can pick 3 numbers and you get the first one that's available. Or you can just tell them to give you something random.

Frye is running 128 I'm pretty sure.

People are starting to figure out that Loretta's is a racket.

Don't let the "industry" (people who collect money at the gate) fool you into thinking you have to come through Loretta's to be a serious contender.

It's a cool race, a fun time with friends... but it's not a box that needs to be checked. My personal favorite pros are those who aren't robots built by "the system".

Frye is built by "the system". If he didn't have a ride allowing him to go pro, he would still be in "the system". Hard to get a pro ride doing local races in Maryland.

Alex will be #128. He's a great kid, with a great family! Trains at The Farm full time so if his speed wasnt't there, I'm sure he wouldn't be lining up. I think he will be fine. May have a few first race jitters, expect him to be 10-15.

So the only way you can travel, race and eventually go pro is by doing LLQ.. Cool..........aid

Check out his report card... 2007 thru May 2015.... http://results.americanmotorcyclist.com/riders/34071-alexander-frye/res… complete amateur record...
This YEAR
He has Won 7 Races in Pro Sport in the Pro/Ams He has 101 Points in 250 Pro Sport, he needed 75 Points in One Full Year to get PRO licence or Good Finish @ the Ranch...

He WON his Local Qualifiers @ Lorettas @ HighPoint so he could of chose to stay amateur, he could of turned pro after Lorettas if he chose too...

One more thing... The dude has a very good record @ Muddy Creek... you can check out anybody's amateur record,
(back to 2006 is as far as it goes) Just enter a name in the link above...

He had a bike problem very early in moto 1. I thought he got 18th in moto 2 but maybe I was wrong. The kid has potential for sure, I just hope he pans out more than Dakota Alix has. Because at this point it seems like Alix will be a privateer next year.
