not really.............he did well in MT series in the "pro" class...............he won titles in B classes...........think he was A or pro-am his last LL days but honestly don't remember.............actually I think Hannah was probably the most unknown to just show up at Saddleback and start beating the locals

Why do most assume that since Eli crashed that he was riding over his head? Is everyone that has ever crashed been riding over their head? Some people are just naturally faster than others, I was slow but I still crashed.

It may not be he was riding over his head but when you ride at 100% your on the edge and it will/can bite you, Dung rides at a acceptable to him level and never rides past that level, I don't believe for a second that if Dung chose to he could have road at Eli's speed or a lot closer to it than he was. Same goes for Ken.
so no one riders at 100% except for Eli? I think your logic is flawed sir

No one talks about AC222 like they do RD and they both have the same formula. Why is that....

Wow I guess I am a idiot retarded moron for asking if he would be frustrated not being able to hand it to Eli or rv when he wins. I never said he sucks, I did how ever say he is a very talented rider. Personally weather I have millions and dozens of championships when I lay my head down in my mansion I would still always think of how I could match that guy. Maybe I am to competitive but I figured to get to be as good as any guy on a national line you have to probably be a very competitive person.

How can you say how you would feel because you will never be in his position or have a mansion or championships from racing and your comments are just a dig at Dungey for being a smart calculated mulit time champ making it sound like he lucked into his success. But "YOU"would not be fulfilled if it was you because you are such a hardcore competitor, how can you even relate to how you would feel if you won a championship? you cant. Go back to the novice class you poser, I bet you are the guy that looks at the entry list for your class and tries to get faster riders DQed because they might have rode A or B class at one time.
Ok because I am not a pro rider i can not ask a question on a mx message board. I simply asked if people thought he might be frustrated because of the same old circumstances. The series is far from over but it got alittle bit of that same old feel. I suppose since I only race c class and I can't be competitive because only pro motocross riders can be I just won't have an opinion on a mx forum. There is one thing I do know and that is dungey has the most diehard defensive fans out there. I never said he sucks, f dungey or any of that.

It still amazes me that Villopoto missed 3 outdoor seasons (36 races) and part of 3 SX seasons (10 races) and still has 20 more wins than Dungey.

Out of those 46 I have no clue how many Dungey missed.

Dungey is still going strong though.

Most of those came from his 250 outdoor series and his 450 SX series. He scorched Dungey in both of those categories. I'm obviously a huge Dungey fan, but RV was obviously much more successful than RD when they were on the track together.

Sad thing is that I am not a big Dungey fan, I am more anti moto moron to guys who have no clue about real competition, yes you can have an opinion but its a uneducated opinion that some times is better kept to yourself. Wink

We will see how they finish once everything is said and done. Villopoto's fire burned big and bright but flamed out fast (relatively speaking) but Dungey's flame is starting to seem eternal.

The guy is paid to win championships for KTM...period. He is not paid to ride rocket fast to win a few races, and crash out of the rest. He is the best of the rest at consistant podium finishes, and managing points that add up to a winning total when the smoke clears. Who the hell cares how he does it? I doubt DeCoster or Pit Beirer do. They do, however, care about championships.

From Racer X, friggin yesterday:

Dungey in supercross this year was more impressive than he’s ever been in his whole career. For me, that was awesome. It really, really showed. And he probably felt really relieved because that supercross title that he had before [in 2010] had a little bit of an asterisk by it. But not this year. He dominated. It was awesome to watch. -Jeremy McGrath

I guess your opinion on uneducated opinions re: real competition just got educated. Tell your pal Bobby M, too.
