Trying to figure it out.
Gonna drive up the famous motorhome early Saturday and find a flat spot.

40 percent rain with highs in the low 80s right now.

My wife & I will be there for the weekend again! Staying in a hotel Fri & Sat night.

Edit: We are staying in the Colonial Inn because it was $109 for 2 nights. We were going to stay in the Marriott that we stayed in last year, but it was $110-120 a night. I'd rather be cheap on the roof so we have more funds for the races & a night out on the town! Yeehaww!!

Does anyone know the price of tickets at the gate? The last 2 years we have camped/raced so I bought tickets on-line. This year we have conflicts and are only spectating Saturday. Should I buy the $40 tickets on-line and pay the extra 4 dollars or so per ticket or will they be $40 at the gate (buying 5 tickets so its a difference of $20).

I am in! Will you be offering party favors out of said motorhome? My head could use some fire water first thing.

I was considering driving up. Just bummed that Tomac will either be missing, or 50%.

If its raining the I'm not sure about the motorhome, dont need to be dragged around by a tractor to park.

Lets hope no rain.

We should have a meet up at guyb's rig after morning track time ,say 11:45 or so and go till we gotta get your seat before m1.

Or, whatever time works for everbody.

I will let it known if the mtohome is there and I'm in for the night life. If its a mudfest it just sucks trying to slime your way around in that old Winnebago.

By the way,it has poured here for 2 days from some big storms. They roll the track in and it is elevated most places,it will be prime but the parking could get ugly.

I'm down for a meetup time. Be nice to see/associate faces with names. Hillbilly is dead on. The bottom has fell out the last 2 days for an hour or so. Got 15 inch rain ruts in my driveway. Thing about the weather in TN in the summer.......it can downpour at any time.

1. Is GuyB's rig inside the pits or is he kept outside of the main gate because he runs the site where all of us Vitards post?Tongue

2. Will the meetup be Noob friendly

3. If so, will someone kindly invite the Monster girls as well.. My son really likes them.Whistling

Ok y'all, whats the final plan?

They charge an arm & a leg to get into the National pits if I remember correctly from last year. Maybe we should meet outside the pits because everyone may not be getting a pass. I'm not sure if we are yet. I guess just depends.

Come by our rig and say hey! All Vitards are welcome and even encouraged. K1 Speed/BWR Engines. Small set up but our riders are almost always willing to hang out and chat.

Ok,when qualifications are over lets head to the vital camper and stop up his toilet.

I'm going to prep the old Winnebago today.

Its a 78 ,i think.. we replaced the 360 with a 413 way back,it still digs up the road. Square as a box.

Got a grill made into a fire pit, bringing wood ,grill for dogs or such.

Someone bring a 8 ball up from Florida please, lol.
