I haven't read anything worthy on vital in weeks. Until I started reading about the chad reed posts. I've been watching the races quite a bit and there isn't much coverage on the crazy Australian. It seems like Chad can't really back up his results like I have said in the past. He gets lucky for a few races, but he is no title contender.
So what's the point of him creating all this drama if he can't back up the results? Just for the sake of it, Who would actually miss the aussie if he left because of this camera gig? I feel like this is just another way for him to stay in the media!
Is it time for Reed to just retire and run a team instead of being a rider? Is this Reed's way of leaving with an excuse because he's washed up? Not trying to be negative, just trying to see who actually cares if reed leaves..

Talk about an ironic first sentence!!!
Now he sees more of the bigger picture when it comes to outside sponsorship and teams ability to exist and even make money in this sport and takes offense to being told how and when he can do it.
Yes the sport will go on without Chad, or RCH, or JGR, but what it wont go on without long term is the outside sponsors and money these teams are bringing in. Thats something the powers that be need to keep in mind when they implement rules.
Maybe it smells a bit of taking his bat and ball and going home, but it could also be more along the lines of, why should he spend his own money to go racing and help line the pockets of the promoters with his team and profile, when he has a company willing to shell out big money for him to do it, while also providing more exposure for the sport and the series the promoters are trying to develop. The ball is in MXsports court on this one, and personally i hope they choose to let him wear his camera.
Just my thoughts on the situation.
