The GP riders podium interviews are so much better than the US riders. They actually talk about the race, track and stuff that is interesting. There's no "thanks to Monster energy, vans, dunlop bla, bla, bla"!

There are some riders in the US that have good podium speeches but that's a minority.

Classic Kongols unjustified hatred of a a MX legend.

Seems like Cairoli hurt his wrist mid-way through that second moto, he was right on Simpson then dropped off. Big confidence booster for the rest of the field to think this might be their year, this is usually Cairoli's GP.

But I wouldn't rule Cairoli out just yet!

It all worked out as well as could be expected too for RV with Paulin winning and Cairoli only getting a few points.

Probably Nagl or Desalle. Or pissed off Cairoli. I bet he won't just take his ball and go home. This is the best season in many, many years.

I agree it gets tiring that they have to thanks there sponsers every time they can. im sure all the guys are thankful for there support

I've been a Desalle fan for awhile, but I couldn't publicly cheer for him this season since Villopoto was there. Country pride and all. I guess it's okay to come out of the closet now. I hope Desalle takes this championship. He deserves it. The guy has been through a lot.

Did Ferrandis get docked for his clearly unintentional leg reflex? Someone mentioned few pages ago reason was his move on Tonkov, what happened?

in 2011 Cairoli won only 1 moto the first 6 races .... still became champ that year .... he wasnt fit at the beginning of the season , yet scored some good points for championships ...this DNF must hurt him and wake him up ...

This season? He was one point off the lead going into today and hadn't finished out side the top two in five motos - and if he hadn't crashed in moto one he would have had the red plate.

From what I understand it was because of leg. He did touch Jonass.

Or he could have backed out of the throttle. I think some sort of penalty (the current is quite large, no arguing that) should be given considering he used his leg to push off another rider (which is dangerous) and gained an advantage/position.

As i said before, i think a 10 second penalty would have been fine but getting docked to 13th is way to much.

With the exception of Qatar where RV was way back and Thailand where he won, RV was basically right behind AC222 and in front of Desalle all season until the 2nd moto at Trentino. But according to The Source, even before his 2ns moto crash at Trentino RVs season was a disaster and everyone else's was going great.

I'm not confusing anything. You observe a season as a whole, with the same scrutiny as he did for RV. Can we say that every season the most dominant GP Champion(AC222) comes in under prepared? Since he doesn't dominate straight away?

BTW, I have much respect for all the riders, both sides of the pond. I have no US fan bias. The MxPanda is one of my favorites.

Although that probably wasn't intentional I agree and a penalty was warranted, but that was way too drastic IMO. Bet Ferrandis can't wait to go stateside now...
