Cliff Palmer. Even had a KTM "factory" ride.

Clay Hoenshell. Pretty good privateer in the 80's. Proof

Hey Retired, I grew up in Broken Arrow. Lived across from Rhema for 12 years. Have you checked out the new south 75 MX? I heard it's the best track in OK.

Jorski beat all those guys that are old enough to remember bag phones. Does Hawthorne count since he's lived here awhile?
Glad to someone else remembers how fast Brett was. Coop is my favorite of all time, and friendly as any pro ever, but I would have to put Trey first because of national championship and Supercross wins.

I havent been to hwy 75 track yet - my kids have been asking to go. Your right about Cliff Palmer , yes he was fast. Yes he had a KTM ride. There are so many to list. How about Wispern Smith or Marley. Oklahoma has had a lot of Fast Riders

Even when I was putting in some effort to be a decent rider, I never got near his level. That "old" guy can ride.Laughing Quite fun watching him hand younger guys their asses out on the track. Fast guys never seem to get slow.

No doubt, talk about a guy with determination! He was kicking butt many moons ago when I first got introduced to MX. Saw him at the old 59th and Douglas track in Midwest City show up in street clothes, get an offer to ride the brand new Husky automatic, and schooled everbody like he had been on it forever.

Don't forget Ryan Voit!

He was as fast as Marley, loved to watch them battle. He also won Reno AX in 2007 I believe? Always had the speed but never had the support needed. Now he is one hell of a golfer.

I always thought Justin Berry could fly on the little bikes too!! watching him work 59th & Douglass was fun. I havent talked to Chase Reed in a while. Last I heard he was doing construction I believe and hasn't even really rode in forever.

What ever happened to Tommie Newman and Derek Latham. They hauled on 80's in the 80's and might have made it. Injuries?

One thing about Jorski, he has low overhead as far as gear goes.

Thanks for posting those. Not much has changed indeed! When Hannah was bustin his balls at the movie preview I was wondering if Hannah really knew what kind of wildman he was messin with. Jorski took it really well though. Of course if they had been out on the track it would have been a different story.

I went out and gave it a look a few weeks ago. Very nice facility with potential to be even better. Need to hurry up and get my butt out on the bike soon. I hear they laid PVC for undergrounds sprinklers also and are putting up lights for night races. Should be a great place to ride.

Fastest Oklahoma MX'er in 71, 72 and 73 (hurt bad in 73) was Tommy Sims. No Contest. He Beat the likes of Priddy, Stackable, Wise, Howerton, Doss, Foust all over Texas. In 71 he spanked the entire Penton Central team at the 125 Tri-State Championship on a 125 Montesa.

The only year Jorski was on a Suzuki.
