Anyone have any experience with these grips? I just bought a set to put on my CR250 in hopes of eliminating a little bit of the vibrations. I haven't rode with them yet, but I've heard of them quite a bit over the years.

Has anyone actually felt a difference between the pillow tops and say a standard waffle grip?

How do they hold up? I've heard they wear out pretty quick because they are fairly soft.

They won't help any vibration. It's a gimmick. Can't go wrong with a soft half waffle or full diamond in the case you don't like the waffle.

I checked out the Pro Taper setup at STL SX and I liked the feel of the Race Cut half waffle grip. I thought I would give the pillow tops a try since I have heard of them quite a bit. I've already installed them on my bike, I'll give them a couple rides and see how they feel, if I don't like them I'll give the RC half waffle a try.

It sounds like I wasted $12 lol.

ive used them a couple times and I like them. The only reason I stopped is I started using tag rebounds which I like alot better, same things but instead of "pillows" it has a pyramid shape. Also Torc Racing make a enduro grip that is pretty much the same thing as the pillow top that I currently have on my yz250. I have bigger hands so i find the bigger grips more comfortable.

Definitely ride with them and see if you like them. Luckily grips are cheap.

They were comfortable, but the OD was different enough from the half waffles that I normally run, that I got a lot of arm pump. It felt completely different... I took a razor to them as soon as I got home.

I ran the pillow top grips, I didn't like them, they were mildly uncomfortable and they did wear out pretty fast, I currently use Renthal Kevlar half waffle grips.

I've used pillow tops for a few years now. I like them, and they do not tear up my hands.

I always use pillow tops and I really like them. I have bigger hands so I like a bit of a thicker grip. Although I haven't used a whole lot of other grips to compare to.

I only use the pillow tops. Remember, they come in two models, standard and lite. I used the standard and they felt great, soft and did reduce the vibration on my 2012 KTM 250 2T. The lite model has a reduced diameter and may not offer quite the same vibration damping, but i have not tried those. And who cares if they wear faster. If they reduce vibration and feel soft, then that is worth the price of changing them out more often.... grips are a disposable item like tires..

They are good, but not as good as the Tag Rebound grips in my opinion.

"Rebound Technology Grips THE MOST TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED GRIP ON THE MARKET The REBOUND TECHNOLOGY matrix surrounds the grip surface in a DNA-modeled molecular structure.

Placing 40% more cushioning material strategically along the entire shaft of the grip in the sensitive thumb area and wraps 360 Ì? of around the shaft acting as suspension for your hands.

This offers more cushioning and dampening against vibration and musculoskeletal stress. With 40% more soft compound material throughout the DNA-modeled wrap of larger diamonds, this grip allows you to race harder and longer. Up to 40% longer"

Sounds good to me..... fuck, its got DNA!!

I hate them...rough, tear up your hands and those thick ends always tear....and they are fugly too...
I use Pro Grip 790's for the trails and Renthal Kevlar for the track. The Pro Grips are triple density gels...they feel great.
