He was hands down fastest rider today. Talked to his mechanic after the main, he was upset with his start, but came from 16th to 3rd. That's gnarly. It was impressive to see how he attacked the whoops, harder than any other 450 rider I will add, he killed it. I'm hammered, goodnight vital.

He did finally learn in the semi that you don't win on the 1st lap but you sure can lose. He is very lucky not to be hurt with all the times he has played crash test dummy this year.

I don't remember who it was but he passes someone in the whoops like he was standing still. Mookie came out of the double before the whoops about 5 feet behind the guy and just grabbed a handfull. By the end of the whoops he was a whole bike length ahead. I didn't see anyone go that fast through the whoops all night.
To come back from two hard crashes, one of them in the whoops no less, and still have the mental strength to do that is very very impressive. I hope he stays healthy for the outdoors.
I was surprised he moved all the way up to 3rd.
