He was hands down fastest rider today. Talked to his mechanic after the main, he was upset with his start, but came from 16th to 3rd. That's gnarly. It was impressive to see how he attacked the whoops, harder than any other 450 rider I will add, he killed it. I'm hammered, goodnight vital.

Oh, go Cole Seely.

He was looking so solid in the heat race too for that brief time in the start. The second I saw his front wheel tuck everyone flipped out watching. That was a painful looking crash and I had a feeling he may have been beat up coming into that main event. Mookie is tough as nails, and the dreads give him some unique style.

He has so much speed and potential. It's a damn shame he's stuck on a 250 with his talent.

He did finally learn in the semi that you don't win on the 1st lap but you sure can lose. He is very lucky not to be hurt with all the times he has played crash test dummy this year.

Wonder if Geico will put him on the 450 for the outdoors?

I would love to see Malcolm win Vegas. He is definitely getting faster. I was really happy to see him line up in the LCQ after a hard crash.

No kidding! I became an even bigger Mookie fan this weekend. The kid is tough as nails and has no quit in him. And DAMN can he ride the wheels off that little 250 when he gets pissed.

I don't remember who it was but he passes someone in the whoops like he was standing still. Mookie came out of the double before the whoops about 5 feet behind the guy and just grabbed a handfull. By the end of the whoops he was a whole bike length ahead. I didn't see anyone go that fast through the whoops all night.

To come back from two hard crashes, one of them in the whoops no less, and still have the mental strength to do that is very very impressive. I hope he stays healthy for the outdoors.

He had a great ride Saturday, especially after that terrible start and two hard crashes.
I was surprised he moved all the way up to 3rd.
