This thread has the wrong title. It should be the "Excuse" thread. Everyone is just echoing what I posted months ago and was called a anti American Ryan hater. It his suspension? Please, gag! It's his condition? fart! No GP rider would do as good in the Nationals, lame, swivel away from the point. Where is all the chest beaters circle jerking themselves with "RV will destroy and dominate that 2nd rate series"?
1. RV has just ran into the best riders and teams in their series doing what they do best, perform in the World Championship to develop and engineer the bikes for the manufactors that will be used by the AMA teams and sold to the consumers.
2. RV is just a first seat saddle jockey on one of the most advanced, experienced, technically advanced European Race teams which develop the bikes the AMA teams will be throwing bolt on performance parts on next year.Everything RV could imagine to inprove his bike is available to him, This is the GPs rules (prototype and development) not AMA restrictions. If RV has refused or insist on doing it his way that's his choice and it's not working to the GP level, who's fault?
3 RV made a desicision to not follow standard GP team protocol and bypassed the pre-season completely even though he is a rookie and has no knowledge or track time with any of the riders or teams he will compete against.
4. Anything RV has acomplished in the past has no merit to the riders he is competeing against now.
5. Any discussion, argument, excuse or suggestion you have for or against RV will not have any effect on RV.
6.Everyone should relax and enjoy this once in a lifetime season.
7..The European followers and participants in the GPs knew RV would be about where he's at right now, not a surprise to us.
The American fans who have not a clue as to what the the GPs are and are just now getting aquianted, a warm welcome to

Well maybe you said read what he said.
I also said rv not doing pre season races would hurt him n clearly it will.

Rv is doing a great job, learning every moto.

There's a common theme in this thread by Americans, if you are the best in AMA series you are the best in the world so being the best in the world and not winning in the GP's means there is something wrong whether its the wind, his cat, his beard, his suspension whatever there MUST be something wrong with Ryan as he is America number 1 AKA NUMBER 1 IN WORLD!

American's, if anyone is going to take this series out apart from a fully fit JS7 its Ryan what you are seeing is him being beat plain and simple, hes going to win some more motos as he improves but dont expect a championship.

Not everyone in the industry is a still a rider my friend, I was and still am in the European Vintage Championship, single shock class, 83 Maico 490 (clue). I don't do very well any more (old, and worn out) but enjoy it anyway when I have the time. I wish I could find a 1975.5 Ossa GPII so I could dabble a bit when in SoCal (clue). Doesn't matter, just don't read what I post, No one is forcing you too, go about your business in peace and relax, enjoy.

None of the euros would do as good as he's doing over there over here. It's still a 2nd class racing league compared to the Ama nationals.

You can se him being top 5 in the first turn and then 10th in the third turn. Gotta stop opening the door in the first corners of the race.

I read his whole post and to be honest, you're a bigger idiot than 'The Source

Why? Because amidst his trolling (at times) he raises decent points, whereas you are just an utter plank! Calling out the GP riders as "euro pussies", rarely (if ever) giving any of them a modicum of respect they deserve and instead choosing to fill us in with a plethora of excuses.

Oh, and let's not forget your predictions, jeeeze, they were even worse than 'The Source' this weekend.

Your points.

Can you tell me if you know what direction the teams is going with Ryans setup, you just blamed Ryan i mean do you talk to anyone within the KRT ?

7..The European followers and participants in the GPs knew RV would be about where he's at right now, not a surprise to us. Weird i know plenty of top dogs in europe who thought ryan would be a contender and actually he is so you are wrong there.

The thing with R&D is also wrong, there is a production rule in america but how come cairolis new bike the 16 is pretty much a work together with the Redbull KTM USA and Austria to be a perfect bike for supercross?

4. Anything RV has acomplished in the past has no merit to the riders he is competeing against now. He got a overall and already beaten some of them before in mxdn does that not count?

5. that number five - Are people not aloud to discuss the problem, ofc it wont affect Ryan lol , do you think he reads the message boards or what ?

Are you any better than the shit talkers when you trying to make a statement and throwing the whole american motocross series under the bus, you dont expect that people will be pissed by a post like this ?

To me you sound like a grumpy old man who got a perfect opportunity to get some anger out now when a good american rider is racing the series you have close to your heart, because you want some kind of respect or you want the americans to show respect to the MXGP series and their riders. Something personal for you or, you are just as disrespectful as those who trying to shit talk europeans.

you also said excuses there is LOADS of americans who dont making up excuses so you are wrong once again.

Mmmm the shit is deep on here!

I think a lot of people on here are more pissed off at RV's results than RV is. He seems to just really be enjoying him self and the series going off of his Instagram. Even if he is getting 4th.

Why is it so hard for people to believe that RV is just not as fast as his competition. Today he was 4th fastest in the GP class he was racing, why is that not an acceptable answer?

The problem is that most part of the US followers expected RV to easily beat these amateurs from Europe. And now you all get a reality check which is very confronting.

Luckily for you AC is not winning GP's yet, it is the first time in his MX1/MXGP career that he hasn't won a GP after the first three rounds. I think he's too busy keeping an eye on RV or something.

Lets just see who is where after round 6 and in the meantime enjoy motocross.

I almost seem to remember Ryan being so much faster at the last mxdn he ran that he got to wait around for Dungey so they could cross the finish together. But some of you are right. Those same guys are just way better than him.

You guys are talking like RV is finishing mid pack. After round 1 he was down 25 points after the second round he was down 18 now he is back ti 27 back. Its a long searies.

I am an American and please do not lump me in with these guys that think RV would dominate. The top GP riders are fast as are the top AMA racers as this has been shown on both sides of the pond.

I hope all riders stay healthy and the battles keep getting closer. Looks like we are in for a great season of racing.

???? I respect both series, and ANYONE who throws a leg over a bike (American, Euro, Black, White, Pro, Beginner). It just seems many non american race fans are more hoping for a poor race from RV than good racing in general.

I thought I read that he got 4th? Anyway I'm not bitching that he got 4th or whatever he did. 2nd fastest lap time does not mean you finish 2nd BTW. I just don't see why anytime he doesn't dominate the board is filled with excuses for him. To me the toughest series to win is the World Championship, innever expected him to sweep it so these results are not a surprise to me.

No, he's 27 points down in championship.

Europeans don't think RV is 'doing shit', maybe they thought he'd do better but ultimately many have a lot more respect for him that you'd imagine.

What Europeans generally get pissed off with though is the lack of respect Americans generally throw towards the GP riders. It doesn't even matter if they win, many will still find a way to suggest they are inferior instead of lavishing any praise.

What was wrong with my prediction? I had a smorgabord of Tony, Clement, deDyker (oops) Nagl and Jeffrey, Dylan and Lieber(oops) and I upped RV from a lower top ten to a 4-6th because Tommy & Strijbos were not available. Not bad?

I thought I read that he got 4th? Anyway I'm not bitching that he got 4th or whatever he did. 2nd fastest lap time does not mean you finish 2nd BTW. I just don't see why anytime he doesn't dominate the board is filled with excuses for him. To me the toughest series to win is the World Championship, innever expected him to sweep it so these results are not a surprise to me.
No it dosent but you said " he is not as fast as his comp" wrong but there was 3 good quality riders ahead of him and they had a better day and there is no excuse for that.

The American fans who have not a clue as to what the the GPs are and are just now getting aquianted, a warm welcome to
you, sit back and enjoy. Your level of MX intelligence is being upgraded right before your eyes.

I agree, at times the Source takes a shot here and there, but he has a lot of valid points that even I can agree with sometimes. I still think RV made a mistake by not racing the earlier rds. Especially given how long he had been away and the all new thing. Personally I don't think he cares too much, or he would have.
