The cheque, bounced, Kongols.

He's doing well - not as well as some fanatical Fan Bois 'expected', but well indeed.

There's another 30 points paying motos left.

It looks to be a great season ahead

Kongols, what is the latest on Matiss? He borrowed one of our practice bikes at a EM250 race in Gdansk when his didn't make it on time,. Great kid and he took the overall without a lap of practice on the bike.

He`s doing well. He had ACL operation on February 10th. He`s back on road bike doing everything to get back as soon as possible. No GP`s this year.

Erm, Tyla became world champion in 2008, on a fourstroke... 2004 was the last season he rode a 125cc
OK.. my mistake. Must have my wires crossed somewhere...
I remember cheering for Tyla because he still was on the smoker when almost all the others were on the 250f. I remember he did fantastic with that bike. Was he maybe leading in Namur or something like that ? Was he riding that 125 when Townley became world champion ?

Anyway, doesn't really matter. All i wanted to say that i remember him as a very fast guy that even was competitive on that underpowered smoker and that it is sad to see him getting waxed every single time these days.

Look her fellas. I'm American through and through. Once a year I put on my stars and stripes and become a patriotic fantard. That's what MXoN was created for. The rest of the time I'm a fan of MOTOCROSS. I don't recognize nationality. If an American wins that's just a bonus. I just want to see guys riding dirtbikes to the nthdegree. And so far that's what I'm seeing. If you're only rooting for one guy you're probably gonna be disappointed and bitter. Would any of you attend a gp and talk this shit with others in the beer tent? Or would you laugh and hug and be amazed at the spectacle you had just witnessed? Try doing the same here on the board and we can all have a better time. Yes I've been to the GP's. I was there at Farleigh Castle when Brad won for the first time. I was wearing a stars/stripes t-shirt and not only got no grief but couldn't pay for a beer and my back was sore from all the slaps....like I had won the race. We're all in this together fellas....ain't it great!
Applaus.. best post ever.

All this AMA vs GP thing is getting old. There are 2 big motorcross leagues in the world. The GP series (which should be called European championships in my eyes but ok) and the American Nationals. Both series are equal. There is talent on both sides of the pond. And this year it is fantastic because we have the best rider from each side of the pond racing in the same league.
Ofcourse RV has a disadvantage. He is completely out of his comfort zone. But if he looses does that mean that AC (or another rider that becomes world champion) is the better rider ? I don't think so.
And what if AC goes to ride the nationals and doesn't win the championship ? Does that mean that the rider that does is the better rider ? Again, I don't think so.

Can't we all just enjoy the racing ? What is happening this year is something we have been waiting for for ages. I really hope RV can step up his game a little so we can enjoy more great races in the near future.
People that to this day still say that one of the series is superiour to the other have no idea what they are talking about. There is great racing to be found on each side of the pond.

The GP competition is legit. They don't spend half their year practicing Supercross, outdoor mx is their bread and butter. You don't win 8 world championships without being an absolute badass on a dirtbike. Nothing is wrong with RV, he is just one of the top 5 guys, period. I would be shocked if he was going 1-1's consistently by the end of the year, the competition is too good. He'll be trading moto wins but I do not see anybody winning by 30 seconds in the MXGP class.
