How many possible wins did Hannah have throughout his career compared to the guys today? 17 races per year now compared to how many back then 6,10,12?

They raced on Saturday and Sunday for many years at Pontiac, Houston and Seattle and each day was a separate event but they still didn't have as many total races as they do now even when they did that.

Hannah easily should have racked up a couple more titles and many more race wins indoors and out.

I think we need DV to make a spreadsheet with stats showing percentage of podium finished to main event starts for the top main winners of each decade to see a better comparison.

IMHO, Hannah raced against much deeper talent, Lechien, Howerton, Lackey, Laport, Bradshaw, Ward, Barnett, OMara, DeCoster, RJ, Bowen, Bailey, Glover, Bell, Chandler, Cooper, Marty Smith, Marty Tripes

Watch this and tell me any of these guys could make a main into days field....be honest! There are better riders at your local chickenlicks speedway today! Those guys wouldn't know what to do looking at the face of a triple on a modern SX. LOL

Nope, and not too many of them would have survived back then driving to the races with their mechanic. The sport simply evolved to private jets and manfriends. Hell, I doubt many of the kids racing today could hoist Diana Dahlgren up. Well, maybe Peick!

In last night's broadcast, it listed Bradshaw as having 19 "450" wins. That can't be right? I know he challenged for wins in the early 90's before hanging em up, but I've never seen stats that he won 19.

Bradshaw definitely had 19 wins. He had a 5 race win streak in 1992 and 9 total that season.
