Believe it or not there were 5-10 wheelie boys that showed up to Tomahawk MX last monday and all they did was ride wheelies up the road with gear on (but no helmets, one guy did have goggles though Laughing ). They all had piece of shit bikes except for the one dude with a 2015 CRF.

I like this quote. Where do you start?:

One man whose vehicle was confiscated spoke to NBC10.
"We all heard about it from the same place, all over the media where everybody else heard it," said the man, who did not want to be identified. "No one actually knew it was illegal. We were just there to show a cause for children."
The man told NBC10 he hopes he can get his bike back so that he can get back to New York.

I was going to quote that as well, glad I checked first. They didn't know it was illegal? That's what they're going with? Only thing that sucks is now 68 people are going to have their bikes stolen to replace the ones the cops confiscated.

Now that the police have confiscated about 65 of their bikes, get ready for these assholes to steal 65 more in the near future.

Neal boortz used to play this clip called " boo got shot" oh man,was it funny.

I don't want to be that guy....but maybe it is actually a good thing that they are parading the stolen bikes around in the streets doing wheelies on them. It provides an excellent opportunity to get the bikes back if they were stolen. Just make sure you file all the paper work and one day you will get a call from the cops when one of the wheelie gangs gets busted. Seems like a win-win to me.

Bravo!!!!! Can't believe some of their "reasoning" was that they "didn't know it was illegal" and it was "for the children". I know if I lived in that area, my bikes/quads/whatever would be on lock down more so than usual. They'll be out looking for replacements right away. If these guys actually paid for the bikes, they wouldn't have just dumped them and ran away.

It's hard to arrest someone for riding a stolen bike if dozens of bikes are dropped and all the riders take off running. Without a way to assign a specific individual to a specific bike, no arrest will be made for theft or possession of stolen property.

That may not have been the case here, but with 68 bike being impounded, it's at least a likely scenario.

That's actually a great point. I never thought of that but very true.. I doubt it very much but it would be awesome if mr Day's bike was there

Ok now are the police just going auction these off or actually cross the vins. I wonder if my bike was in that batch.

I'd start donating to police departments if they made an effort to determine whose they are.
