So Honda wants "parts sales" from four strokes? Why is it that just about every required component for there 2-strokes is readily available? As a company, that's what you do, you make money off of the parts of the bikes you produce whether it be 2 stroke or 4 stroke. Have you ever bought Suzuki parts? Suzuki charges $28 for ONE handlebar clamp rubber grommet. Honda charges $14 for all 4. Honda is not making more profit from 4 strokes, they are making a profit on all of the parts from the bikes they produced.

Nice build Travis.....
Tell him Todd!!!!

And that is the perfect business model. . . Build a bike everyone wants, build it to fail, then sell parts at a nice price. . .

And, yes, you a stomping my ass on these rounds of Madskills. . . I'm old though. It's good to keep up with you a llittle bit though.

I'l still try and give you hell. :-)

Peace mmi

Honestly i wouldn't count on it, I'm a 2 stroke guy but the reality of it is, 4 strokes are all anybody wants anymore.

In order to be competitive on the pro level you need a 4 stroke. I think if teams started using two strokes then Kawasaki,Honda, Suzuki, etc. would start the assembly lines back up because there'd be a demand for them. It'd be really sweet to see a new 2 stroke motor and revised/up to date bikes but hoenstly I don't see it happening for quite sometime or anytime at all. But hey history may repeat itself and 2 strokes rise again but don't hold your breath on it.

Gave my Honda dealer a deposit on a 2016 CR250R. He says it should be in next week. I post pics when I get it.

This again?! It was said like a week ago by someone from Honda that 2 stroke production will never happen again.
