Marv is a true master at his skill. Very in tune and looks to be almost one with his bike. Super impressed. He's always been great....but this season , he just looks completely polished on that KTM. In the E vs W shootout in Vegas , I don't see anyone beating him. Maybe Webb will give him a run?

Sure hope he takes this confidence outdoors....because the two Yamaha boys will be on it this year. But indoors , I don't see anyone on Marv's level right now.
Watching a couple of master's of throttle control like Mushy and Dungey at Washougal last yr is just about as good as it gets for me.

Yeah....because he's the one who makes those decisions.

Don't remember saying he did. I was implying that maybe Decoster thought Marvin stood a better chance in the East (east coast usually has the reputation of being the weaker of the two coasts).

The "French professor" no doubt! His style on and off the bike remind me of David Bailey so much. I first noticed his unique style at washougal a couple years ago when he was the only rider tripling up the rhythms on horsepower hill. All the way to the very left edge of the track. This last year he was just crazy to watch at shoug. Super unique style and vision of the track.

Probably because Roger said he was racing east coast. Case closed.

Marvin often said he prefers the grip of the east coast dirt...

In years past before we could watch the GP's here in the states, I could have sworn that by reading what goes on here, all of the GP guys were assholes. Then we get Roczen and Musquin who have the coolest personalities. Makes you realize that most all of the mud flinging is just a bunch of blowhards behind their screens.

KTM is going to re-sign Marv-O for the next two years and put him on the new EFI 250SX in 2017 for Supercross. He's going to be the reverse Doug Henry.

Greets All... First post. I raced as a kid in the 70's and have followed MX since 1971. Magoo is my fave of all time, especially after seeing him fly through tree branches at High Point!

Agree with IWreckALot... Any folk who race and/or follow the sport are cool in my book, with the exception of a few jerks over the years...Very few.

Great kid, Marvin appears to be. Fast. Gracious in victory or defeat. Can't wait to see him at Budds Creek this year!

I'd love to see him up against Herlings outdoors.

I think the thing that impressed me most was after one of the previous SX rounds where he came out in the post-race interview and told everyone that he had been in a shitty mood and was a bit of a dick to Mathilde and the team after his heat race and pretty much apologised to them.

True champ, he and Dungey are very alike!
