I'm curious too. He's essentially out for the championship barring some freak accident. He MIGHT be able to stay on the box, but he's gotta have a solid finish to the season and that ankle needs some time to rest. My outside opinion is to rest, and get ready for MX. If he doesn't let it heal, he's going to be missing a lot of the outdoors in addition to SX.

I guess there has been no official word given. Hopefully its not as serious as first reported.

Matthes mentioned no surgery, and a few weeks in a boot concerning his ankle injury which might have originated in Oakland.

I'd like to see him sit out the rest of SX (sucks I know), but come back outdoors with the #1 Cool

the way I read one of his Insta posts today or yesterday he's out for sure for this weekend and I took it as longer but that's just me. I would assume they will give him plenty of time since this takes him out of the SX championship

I am a HUGE KR fan but waiting for him to heal up and come back for MX hoping for a championship is a very slim chance. We all watched him struggle last year, remember? He doesn't do so well with the long motos and the ridiculous summer heat and humidity. It is just my opinion, but I feel he is a far better SX rider than MX rider due to the attrition. This may not be the most popular opinion but again, it is just mine.

I remember him winning 8 moto`s, most moto wins last year. Dungey had 6. And he won the championship. I have no idea what you were watching.

Barring some freak accident? Like a stadium imploding with the rest of the competitors inside it? He's 68 points down to Dungey, and 18 points back of Canard...and with Tomac also ahead of him.

Oops. I'm having kind of a crappy day. I saw a guy have a heart attack while out on my lunch ride. Tried to help him with CPR, until the paramedics arrived. I don't think the outcome was good.

Yeah. It's okay. So far I'm just taking it out on troll accounts. Three and counting.

That happened on a group mtb ride I was on... the guy didn't make it. Wasn't a good day. Good on you for doing what you could.

That happened to me at Indy one year at the trade show. I think the guy worked at Oakley. That will really shake you up.

I still haven't heard what his injury even is....A sprain/strain, a fracture, a dislocation, a contusion?
