Yesterday Jimmy Hill got ejected while in 5th gear going about 180 feet and about 40 feet high in the air while filming with his ‪#‎ONEmx‬teammate Wes Agee's movie titled‪#‎projectlonewolf‬. Jay Schweitzer said "It was one of the scariest crashes I've ever seen. You rode like a champ all weekend and we are thankful you only broke your arm." Get better HillSack and we all wish you a speedy recovery!

My reaction is to cringe with that queezy feeling in my stomach like we all know, if you have been seriously injured before.

Not sure if the guy in that video got hurt...if he didn't, it is most definitely an "lol" moment. Just as much as all the shit on Ridiculousness and America's Funniest Home videos....

I had that almost head on shown above happen at a practice one Wednesday night. Except the kid actually hit me. He got all squirrel on a combination jump and whiskey throttled off the side of the track into my lane. I had just finished riding a few hard laps and checked up. I had pulled my goggles off to cruise back to the pits and when I look up, with one hand on the throttle and one holding my goggles, I saw him coming at me at a high rate of speed. I grabbed a handful of throttle and almost cleared him but he hit me right in the rear brake rotor.

The bike shot around and bar locked. Then the bars hooked me under my right arm pit like a steer horn and tossed me about 25 feet down the track. I suppose that resulted in 2 or 3 broken ribs but I never went to the doc to confirm. Cost me a rear rotor too. I approached the guy in the pits and he said "sorry dude, I got crossed up and just couldn't stop." I said, "what about my brake rotor?" - "Sorry."

I was lucky he didn't hit me straight on.

Given what you know about falling from 40 feet straight to your ass, do you suppose he just jogged that one off? I don't think we have to know the extent of his injuries to be able to determine that he spent some time in the hospital for that "LOL" moment.

The stuff I laugh at on Ridiculousness or AFHV is not stuff that sends people to the hospital, I can promise you that.

For sure.. Anyone who has spent time in the hospital with tubes hanging out your chest, or endured broken bones and months in a cast just to puke when the bitch saws it off for the first time... Ugh, I hate getting hurt and don't enjoy seeing others injured.. I am in the wrong sport? maybe, Ha..

Regardless of whether the chap may or may have not injured himself, people have to gain your approval to "LOL" at a video clip now?

Zero LOLs given.

My morbid curiosity and sincere hope is that his body hit the downside.

Also, I miss the days where, not that I would ever would.. but grooming the face of that launch ramp could ever be a thing.
Holy hell. Respect.

Tuck and roll baby. Has saved me from serious injuries more than once, it works.. Last minute decision possibly saved his life & might have avoided the broken arm had he not put it down.

Difficult to watch and brought back very bad memories. Multiple shakes of the head, a sick feeling to my belly and the smell of hospitals. Thankful he made it out relatively unscathed considering how bad it could've been.

Lucky lucky man.

Get well soon and leave that FMX shit to the birds.

Edit: Showed my girlfriend while just watching her facial expressions. It went from her squinting, to eyes & jaw wide open! Then head shakes and is he ok follows?
