Can't believe all the hate Mike gets.. Yeah he's made some mistakes but wishing someone to get hurt is low. And mike is one of the nicest guys in the pits. He has also really took his SX riding to a new level this year. Just kinda sad how some people act get well soon mike

I don't have anything against Mike but I don't think his riding is at a new level. At Daytona he once again got a fantastic start on a track that should perhaps suit him better than the rest. He always seemed better at motocross, not Supercross. But with that good start he near-on throws the anchor out immediately and by lap 4 (I think it was) he is outside the top 10 from 2nd. Compare that to Andrew Short, for example, who isn't a Top 5 guy but was still able to hold his own out front for much longer. I'm sure Mike will go down as the best starter the sport has ever seen, but that's about it as far as being a Pro goes.

Social media...message boards...all the same. Lots of people will hide anonymously behind their computer or smartphone keyboard and say things to & about people that they would never have the nuts to say to them face to face. These jackholes that say "pity he got up" or "disc him under" need to get a life. I can see someone not being a fan of a rider...but, really?

I hope Mike is ok. No matter what you say about Tony and Team Alessi...I wish nobody any ill will, and I hate to see anyone get hurt badly or at all.

Mike is one of the hardest working riders out there. It's a shame keyboard warriors with no appreciable skills other than typing feel so compelled to show their IQ. Makes all of us who are real MX SX enthusiasts and actual riders look bad.

He is riding at a new level in my opinion.. Are his finishes where they should be no, but at the beginning of the season 80% of people didn't even have him making main events cause of this stacked field.. He's been up there in the opening laps and drops maybe from being tired frustrated over it who knows but I no he is doing a lot better in the whoops.. And I'm not even an Alessi fan. Some people just think if ur not top 5-10 u suck.. Wrong

I also think Mike has done better this year. Too bad for people like that, funny thing is I can almost guarantee any one of them wouldn't be getting up after half the fall Mike took... Maybe they're jealous...

When I first started Motodrive, people were a lot more reserved in what they'd post. More human. Now it seems like a lot more people are looking for a reaction in what they post. And my tolerance level for it is getting lower.
