No according to a bunch of people here he is a cry baby.

They must have missed him launch over his bars and how lucky he is to be racing right now..
There in lies your problem bro, figure out "who" to listen to and who to just tune out.

That really is not THAT hot. I was figuring the humidity to be in the 90's.
What is the elevation there? Might be hard to breath.

That's fucking retarded.

You can't go to somewhere like Thailand and then think fuck it's a bit hot here, let's run a shorter race.

so these kids need to go to hospital just to prove their manliness?

some of you guys actually need to be here, having come from 5c (40f) and then racing in 35c (110f) is no joke..... but i'm sure your air-conditioned couch is nice and cosy

Nope. Not the point.

You don't stick your hand in a blender and wonder why you lose fingers do you?

It's fucking Thailand. Not Sydney where you might get a 40° and 90% humidity day once in a bit. Not California. Not Spain. It's Thailand. It's normal to be hot and sweaty as fuck there. What did they expect?
So, you think they should send out riders for your entertainment . because the fucking Series Organisers fuck up.

Got kids, crush?

Send them out, on a hot humid day, to die do you ? Hey, perhaps it would Harden the little fuckers up, enough for you?

Seriously - you're an Australian, you might know about heat stress. But, perhaps not - you might just be a bloke that concentrates on blinging up his bike.

It's been a reasonably warm day here in the Blue Mountains - I was a bit over ambitious, with a piddly 30K pedal, then a 3 hour ride in the bush on my MC, to then plonk myself in front of the computer to watch SX, then MX. And I'm not feeling that chipper after that - and that would be but a 10th of what those blokes are going through in Thailand .Each time I've been in S.E Asia, it's been quite 'toasty' and with humidity that's like swimming through the air.

CR and RC - fine former champions both - but fucking idiots to get into this sort of BS. If doctors / organizers (and Youthstream tends generally, not to give a flying fuck about riders) deem it wise to shorten races. well, it might just be a good idea.

Or, do you want to see riders die? Like that bloke did in the US a few years ago in the US Nationals. Will that Entertain You - and others here?

Shame om you I thought you had more than that in you.

It is for Euro's. Mainland Eu is pretty much still in winter mode atleast where i am. Daily temps between 5 - 15 ° degrees C. (sorry no idea how much that is in F) I guess a defensive argument could be that most teams head out to spain and south of france during winter to get atleast some training in. Still a good call by the FIM to shorten the moto's. The guys looked destroyed after moto 1 and we really don't want anything happen to them like with Josh Lichtle ..

Here in south Louisiana it is common for it to be around 95 degrees with 100% humidity in the summer months. Humidity is the kicker.

Love the way Ferrandis charges, looks a tiny bit like JMart on the bike.

It's what the Thai Meteorological Department website says the temperature and relative humidity is at Nakhon Pathom. The actual temperature could be wildly different to what's on the site though.

The announcers said it was 40 Deg C a few minutes ago. That is 104 Deg F. 104 at 55% Hum is no joke.
