So strange. He has never stalled on the start before in his whole career that I remember. He was there forever too.

Anstie came from dead last to 7th in the MX2 race. Admittedly the MX2 is not as strong as the MXGP, but it shows that it's not impossible to come through. I think RV was riding way too aggressively at the start and that's probably why he went down again. As soon as he calmed down and found his rythym he looked much better.

This is what some have been saying though, if you try and ride too agressively on some of these tracks they will bite you. As RV has discovered a few times this weekend
Did you watch, or are you just speculating?

I heard some Drago got squirrelly and put RV on the ground.

Looked like he might have bogged off the gate in the qualification moto too?

Probably shitted in his pants today. it's MXGp afterall, not your flat easy riding speedways.

Who stated that? Many of the fucking mooks predicted RV would finish behind third in the series. Fucking respect? Fuck off

Stall, two crashes aside the one thing I'm surprised by is his best lap times were still 2+ seconds off the leaders.

MX Vice reported that it was an electrical issue that they've been dealing with since before the season.

Ry4n, that's how he rides- with unpleasant intentions.

Herlings.......barely beats Ferrandis. Same tight Q race. Kid hurt, going just fast enough or what?.....honestly thought he'd be long gone.

Op stated that.

"Yeah there's nothing wrong with rv B class riders passing him. Hmmm "

"You're a complete moron. Rv will smoke all the euros once the gate drops where it actually counts. "

"Added reply in a thread Paulin vid.. can he beat RV? 1/30/2015 11:00 AM

Hell no he can't beat RV. He's nowhere near the same level as him."

I can go on forever. My reply was solely to the op.

There are no certainties in racing

Zook etc should Learn that

I'm going watch SX

But, 8th yesterday, 9th today, not the runaway you predicted huh
Nope it wasnt, but, remember Ryan DNQ a round in SX in Jacksonville FL, and still won the title! You are correct it is not the runaway we predicted but he has come back from worse performanaces.... so I would not jump to conclusions just yet... just saying!

No, in fairness I don't know the exact reason why he dropped back to 19th. It wouldn't have surprised me if it was because of his own crash. In my opinion at the start of the race he wasn't riding for the conditions, which is totally understandable given his start. Once he calmed down he was much better

Is that true? The lap chart doesn't show him on the first lap, but has Desalle in 18th on the second lap. Did he pass 22 guys on one lap?
Desalle is circled in red, adjusting his clutch. I make him 35th here (37th was from rough memory)

It's amazing how some of the Euro fans' character comes out on these forums. Like St Ann, I used to have some respect for him, but when he makes a comment like. "8th loser" it obviously shows the lack thereof.

These little details often get lost on those who would rather highlight the fact that Desalle finished a minute down to RV in that race Smile

I stand corrected. But zook11 is sort of an embarrassment around here, he doesn't really speak for the whole. Nothing worse than a fanboy.

If this would have happened at a US National RV would have still been top 5. Starting to think Europe may have swung the pendulum in their direction speed-wise.

Desalle is a beast, and has been one of my favorite riders watch since I first heard of "The MX Panda". Hope he has a stellar year for himself.

As far as RV, alot of guys sure raced better than he did. Don't know how many follow his "career", this is not the first time he has been in this position Wink

Dudes like him don't realize they bring the Euro gloating on themselves. Maybe try being respectful if you expect people to be respectful back.

Have you seen the video? RV just went in the wrong place.

However, I don't doubt that most of the guys are out there to get him, especially the mid-pck guys who don't have a massive say in the championship.
