This is what a GP track looks like LOL

If this is what the GPs have to offer for the "world championship" I think I would pass.

Looks like a mediocre local track. There are some good ones later on in the series though

not every track has to be outside supercross like most of what USA mx is like

Lost boy. I'm disappointed.

Thats not even an outside national track, I have tougher tracks in the field by my house. So now I know why I havent paid much attention to the GPs. Our local tracks are way better than that. You know what we race on tracks like that one ? trucks and Buggies. I hope the tracks get better quick because that is an embarrassment.Blush Blush Blush

I'm not sure that any real GP fans would call Qatar a good track, there are much better ones in the series. It's more there for the spectacle of the night race and to bring motocross to a nation where its fairly small, plus I am sure that FIM makes a ton of the promoters.

No worse than Utah, Elsinore,Pala and any other future MXSports venues that the growth of the sport has had here.

But there has got to be some sore of standard. Do the normal GP riders think that is a world championship track? Send Mike Alessi over to that and he will be world champion, get the holeshot and its over. Sorry but I was expecting way more and I do hope its gets to better tracks soon.

We all hate Qatar, it's an investment exercise but it's there and that's it.

GTFO of the east and back into the real tracks, let the racing commence, I wanna see real roost, not kitty litter

The race is against other racers, not against piles of dirt.

I will I am all amped up for the season but watched the video and it looked like a local fair ground race. With the money in Qatar I thought it would be better, maybe for a season opener it may be better to have a mild track to let everyone settle down.

Actually that's not even true. There are only like 2 tracks on the Nationals circuit that are like that.

Well, in all honesty if they wanted a proper race they could have a blinder in the sand dunes but they built this crap next to the MOTOGP circuit.... Sucks. It's not like it's for the fans. Simple financial exercise

ruts scare me.....

Took me some fast guys advice, a gear high and keep the revs up.

It still freaks me out how he crossed 10 of them like it was nothing, but I'm just an old woods ride on a 260lb fat girl.
(love my bikes torque though).

Call me biased but the Utah tracks from the last two years are absolutely better than the Qatar track (which doesn't change, I might add).
