But this is a race in conditions that were supposed to favour Villopoto. An 'AMA' like track and all that.

As it is, he's clearly had some kind of problem, but his fastest lap is still 2.5 seconds slower than Tony's, and nearly 3 seconds slower than Desalle's.

RV has a lot of work to do between now and the next race. I know its only qualifying, but 2 seconds off the leader ain't good. This is why i believe he should of raced when he had the chance.

Keep track of those lap times. Let's all wait till 30+2 when the cream rises. RVs best laps are always at the end of the moto. He never slows down and will pick folks off one by one.

Desalle is a damn beast though. Definitely a threat.
