Came across some classic TP (not the wiping kind) while perusing the ol' webbernets. First off, I did not recall him ever racing in Australia, especially in his prime. But here it is. This race pretty much sums up Travis' pro career - ridiculously fast, super exciting, fun to watch, and marred by weird mistakes big and small.

Also interesting to see a Chad Reed who has yet to completely figure out Supercross. He looks a little tight at the start and nowhere on par with Pastrana.

I'm sure this has been on this here meeting of minds before, but enjoys anyway y'all!

Don't remember the moves Reed made on TP being so shady last time I watched that. Definitely going for the kill. Still makes me sad thinking about what we missed out on seeing with Pastrana's career being cut so short.

TP rode right by numerous people without even a block pass.

I was watching that too. So smooth. I love when riders have enough control of the bike to make turns feet up and save energy

All in the same corners after not jumping those big ones? Yeah, good timing, but passes like Reed's were every weekend on that stuff, arenacross basically

I thought Ando won southwick not red bud. I don't think he won a Moto though, I vaguely remember it being muddy and he went 2-3 or something like that.

I remember that I noticed last time (I'm not sure that makes sense) that one of the promo girls was Nicky Whelan who is an actress and was the super ridiculous hot one in Hall Pass that got bewbs out for Owen Wilson

Him and Byrner actually drew that day. Was a bit wet early, not as bad as 09 tho.

"Forcing him through like a pimple"

Can you imagine Ralph and crew using that phrase this week?

Now that's how you re-enter the track. Now a days the pros cut half the track without missing a beat. But hey as the announcers point out they didn't gain a position so it's cool..

Yep, the tried and true rule forever. Never see it anymore though.

I have never had more fun watching a racer than when I watch Travis. His first race in Supercross where he almost gets black flagged for crashing half the field is still one of the more entertaining races I've ever seen. Laughing

They were better to watch too imho. The riders had to be so aggressive to do anything.... Watching 450 guys not as fun to me, they're riding away from the power, two smoke days the guys were doing everything they could to get it all out!

my thoughts exactly.

TP is the definition on NFG when he's riding. I could watch that due ride all day.
