Cue up the same Euros coming to a american board talking shit, getting straightened out, complain about how we are on American board (again), insert JH, AC, GL's penis in mouth (no particular order), beat chest how from 2012 to present Europe is the MX gods, repeat.

WTF. Most inaccurate description of a person I've ever heard.

Edit: Just realised this comment is from the day that the US lost at Lommel. May have been some slight bitterness there Grinning

It's true. Malin is horrible in the booth. He literally argues everything the analyst says, has an annoying poppy-cock vocal delivery and cadence, and takes a dig at the US every chance he gets. You can forget his anti-American bias, completely disregard it, and he is still a horrible announcer. The guy speaks in 3-5 word bursts like Jim Rome (shitty argumentative sports analyst in the US) His cadence and intonation are like nails on a chalkboard.

What fun would this board be without all the euros?
It would be just a bunch of 'mericans agreeing with eachother on how good the AMA series is and how bad the GP's.

Game on....

It's not as easy as it looks or sounds. I think Malin does a pretty good job, he's not the best sports commentator in the world granted, but he knows what he is talking about and he does pretty good.

Anyone who thinks its easy should try calling a race, off 2 TV screens the size of a laptop, one with a feed and another with a timesheet, with a director in your ear...

Calling races at the track is easy. Doing it off a TV feed when you can only talk about what we can see isnt.

I think he´s at his best when he has someone with him in the booth. He´s certainly come a long way from when he first started commentating.
I still wave the flag of Jack Burnicle though, very insightful and could even make The Westboro Baptist Church laugh at his jokes.
Did any of you watch "Offroad" on Eurosport in the mid 90´s, where they had all things dirt bike on? I used to laugh my ass off at his commentating when they were showing a difficult section of an enduro.

There are people who are better. The guy is literally the worst sportscaster i've ever heard. His vocal delivery, intonation, and cadence are absolutely horrendous. They'd be better off getting Guy Martin in the booth. No one would have a clue what he was saying, but at least it would be enjoyable and entertaining. See, i'm not biased, just swap redcoats.

Oh man yes, Jack Burnicle! Used to present the Supercrosses of Bercy, Dortmund and Leipzig also on Eurosport. I always tuned out the Dutch commentator Jaap Timmer (man he was horrible) to listen to Jack going crazy about Warren Edwards.
