How aggressive is villopoto with passes ? Mxgp boys seem to have a lot of respect for each other so I doint know how they will handle it if RV starts making more aggressive moves. I am not saying RV is aggressive or dirty rider I am just curious.

I wouldn't be surprised if a few guys were quite agressive with him, let him know that they are up for the fight. Guys like Desalle and Paulin especially

Yeah, and both are on factory bikes.

Coldenhoff was impressive at Hawkstone two weekends ago (but has since broken a toe) and Febvre beat Cairoli yesterday in Italy.

I could only take a screen grab of my top 15, the riders you cant see include Ferris, Waters, Bobryshev, Nicholls, Goncalves, Guarneri, Lupino, Charlier, Bengtsson & Watson... all solid riders.

I know its not the topic but Romain Febvre seems dangerous. By that I mean he can very well surprise some people in 2015. Cairoli passed him in the last race in Italy and Febvre answer back, passed him back and gapped him. Then he almost pass Van Horebeek for 1st place. His results in the italian championship talks for himself: 5/5/4/4/3/2. We know he's consistent, and he's going very well on the 450. He's gonna be a top guy in the years to come I think.

I watched last years Qatar GP a couple of days ago and got a bit nervous (Im a euro guy lol). That track reminds me a little bit of supercross/nationals track, and yeah, RVs pretty good at those :D.
I think RV will win qatar but it will be tough to do it the other racecs.

Either way, thank you RV for going to the GPs, ive never been this excited for the first round!!

I'm not really argueing with you on that point, but RV did go through a knarly SX season right before that and he literally looked like he was dead at round one because he was so sick (I saw him the day before hangtown and he looked like he shoulda been in a hospital). I doubt he did a whole lot of outdoor testing. The end of that year was a completely different RV

The 350 has to be the most nimble bike in the paddock and for sure has no lack of power, also cairoli is a rider with perfect technique. so i can't see why there shall be an advantage for RV

This is the only thing where RV could have an advantage. Cairoli is not a fast starter and it takes some time for him to get going during a moto. he also usually starts slow into the season but builds up steam when the season goes on. Many teams he gets beaten during the first GP's but then clicks of win after win.

Whether or not that approach would work well i don't know. But it wouldn't surprise me if some of those guys gave RV a little nudge if they got the opportunity. There's going to be a lot of fired up guys out there, they're not going to want an American to come and take the world title

I doubt it, top guys give other top guys respect, unless they have some sort of beef. Besides why would they be mad at RV? He is bringing a huge amount of attention to their series. I doubt they would want to create a firestorm by blatantly taking him out early in the year and possibly injuring him. Having RV over there is a huge boost to the GP's, and I think everyone realizes that, even his competitors.

They will give him respect. But at the same time they will want to show that they won't be intimidated by him. You can ride aggressively without being dirty. It wouldn't surprise me if some of them made their presence felt to him.
