After re-watching Saturday nights action, I noticed that Mookie's rear wheel hits Webb's front wheel when the went over the finish line jump during their heat race.

Could have been really ugly.

Yea I saw that, I couldn't tell if Webb just turned out hard and it bounce or what. Reminded me of the video at Stewarts where the guy crashes after getting whipped into.

I'm almost certain they didn't actually hit. The one view looks like they did because Webb turns his wheel, but the other angle they showed, they didn't actually hit.

Edit: Maybe they did hit. I just remember as I was watching it I thought they hit, but then they showed the replay from another angle and it didn't look like they hit.

It's hard to tell from this angle, but Webb's fender sure shakes around as though the wheel gets hit.

I don't think Mookie's back tire hit Webb's front tire, it looks more like Webb saw it coming and turned the bars to the right to avoid contact. It was really close though...

Looks more like a fender shake from hitting the stops on the triple clamp to me.

It's actually Malcolm in that video that scrubs into the other guy. They both crash if you look carefully.

Even if they did hit, wouldn't it have been Webb that hit Malcolm?

Malcom's rear wheel definitely hit Cooper's front wheel.

How long till the FIM starts implementing fines for being too close to another rider in "air space?"

I do not know if they hit or not. But did anyone else notice Bowers trying to say Webb was a dirty rider and took out Mookie at A2? That was all Mookie IMO. He should of checked up!

Remember Barcia's SICK scrub at Daytona last year or the year before?? I think he had just passed Dungey and through a scrub for the ages.

I think we are seeing the same thing from the video below. Fast Forward to 26 seconds in and you'll see Coop doing the same thing (hitting the stops on the triple clamps)

I don't think they touched because Webb's front wheel spin doesn't appear to be altered. If they hit his wheel spin would've been slowed and his front end would've dropped.
