Wow, one thing this whole Reed/ Cannard thing has shown me is the difference between USA forums and the some other countries (I have only looked on Aust and English forums).

Basically it seems the US forums are mostly populated by short tempered, one-eyed keyboard hero's, the discussions on other sites are much more mature.

NO mentions of 'changing lines mid air' or other comments that make you realise the author probably doesn't even ride, no wildly biased comments, just fairly sensible comments.

That was pretty good!

Outsider, it is a different topic, it's completely fine to start. People get awful testy about new topics on related subjects but this is a different thing.

With controversial topics, such as what happened this past weekend, I can't believe many of the comments are even serious. I believe many of these comments are made just to stir the pot. If I'm wrong, there are many members here that have taken too many blows to the head and they weren't wearing a helmet. Some of the comments made were just totally ridiculous.

So right before you post about the maturity of those "other" forums you issue a blanket statement to virtually ALL of US such as this... "populated by short tempered, one-eyed keyboard hero's"! Now that's comical.

And then back it up with more insults that "we" don't even ride! Nice.

You could always try not logging in, posting or reading Vital... this US forum brah, you'd be happier right? Win/Win

I hope you are right in that people just like to stir the pot. The reactions/opinions of the majority of SX fans have been downright embarrassing. It's frustrating that the people who keep this sport alive don't seem to be capable of objectively assessing a racing incident without emotional attachment to a rider.

You can read what ever you want into it.

but

mostly does not mean all

people who talk of 'changing lines mid air' probably do not ride.

that is what I said, not what you read into it, and you are actually proving my statement correct with your reply, thanks for that!

But I love the US mx scene, wish ours was half as good over here and I'm sure the average punter who attends sx/ mx are ripper blokes, hopefully I will find out next year

You're splitting hairs now, and you were being immature with name calling and being judgmental... the very thing you were posting about! Simple enough for you?

And I didn't prove anything, you proved you were just like those you were complaining about. It's not reading into it when it your very own words.

Americans are programmed to judge everything, judge how people speak judge the tone, judge how they dress, judge how they walk etc.

They will seek and find drama over a piece of sand, and they love the drama when ever I tune into any American sport it's all they do talk about everyone and everything then you have all their corny hype advertising.

Thanks to MTV, TMZ and all other celebrity channels.

Judging ? Stating the facts you guys literally have a culture of judging everything and it all stems from your media, the sad thing is Australia is heading in the same direction.

E.g. a celebrity gains weight = pregnant.

You back me up again you think I'm judging and already coming at me with negative thoughts.

Look at the main page there's a guy so focused on judging what race gear tomac is wearing, there's a thread that the OP believes that the biggest problem in supercross is spectators wearing leather jackets and slicked back hair drinking a latte. How insecure?

I will say this though it's not Americans fault that they have been brought up with this type of media hence the behaviour, but please continue to reply defending your pathetic media corrupting your thoughts.

I'm going off what I see here I'm not that ignorant to believe that every single American is in this mindset, but keep going. You cannot even acknowledge that this bitchy behaviour is a problem, I know it's damn well a problem in Australia.

Its like when people call kanye west crazy, yes in fact he is crazy but why is he crazy because the media made him crazy, try live a life where cameras are on you all day "oh kanye is walking funny he must be up to no good" he's basically had constant law suits that have taken most of his money away, how can any man stay sane with that Shit going on.

Negatively sells because MOST NOT ALL Americans feed and love negativity

Wanna know why RV behaved the way he does in the media ? Because he fucking hates it he knows no matter what he says people will picks holes through it

That's why you have bland interviews "ya I'm gonna keep it on 2 wheels bikes good need to get my start etc"
