WAAAHHHH WHY AM I NOT A PRO
Why not get the "Factories" out of those races and allow it to be filled with the originally intended racers!
Then, the newer riders can get the needed time on a real SX track and not have to mix it up with much faster racers.
250 two strokes were great, basically same horsepower as 250 four strokes now. Better racing because the bikes are ridden to their max, and the tracks can be put back to being technical and not so free flowing.
125 class would mean lower cost for privateers and 250 race teams, more money to go around. A better jump for entry level riders, and ALL amateur racing costs drop dramatically, because they only need to ride two strokes from go to the big show.
BOOM.
Suzuki have 125s for sale here I think? Guarantee the class change to the manufacturers and give them a 3 year time frame, the benefits would outweigh the initial costs pretty quickly from a manufacturing pov.
BUT WHOEVER Coined (Ricky points) needs A. The nobel peace prize and B. to become a writer for trailer park boys
It's an evolution of the sport. Good or bad yet remains to be seen.

It also brings up the topic of who absorbs the cost for the timing system, validation, staff, who counts as a "referee," etc.
It's an idea that could have potential. But I think there's endless variables at play.

IMHO 2nd practice on not doing the catapult black flag. Almost needs to be a feeder series TO THE feeder series.
You have to make 3 arenacross mains in a season in the featured classes. too bad, learn to ride with the pros making a living down
there. If someone wins the title twice their out.
some pros race pro/am's too. the problem now is you have riders in group C @ a supercross who were not fast enough to get their
75 points for the pro licence but now are out on a supercross track.
