It's unbelievable that something like this can even get to this point.
I am really disappointed in the sponsors for ever being involved with anyone who blatantly breaks the law then proudly posts videos for anyone to see. This shows a lack of character and professionalism from everyone involved. Ever hear of "Guilty by association"? I am especially surprised at Pro circuit and Alpinestars.
EVEN IF the bike was not stolen (is this seriously still up for debate at this point?) it is not hard for the sponsors involved to know what these guys are about. Stealing or buying stolen bikes to ride wheelies in the streets, getting innocent people hurt or killed and drug dealing are not OK by me and not something I will support with my hard earned money.
If Chino is still a part of any of these activities, (is he?) I think any industry sponsor of his should be held accountable. Supporting and associating with criminals is never good and only encourages the behavior even more especially in impressionable children who should never see criminals being rewarded.
Reward someone for coming clean or helping to STOP people from breaking the law and earn my respect and loyal business. There are plenty of very talented bikers to sponsor who need support and actually bring something to the table. Promoting and marketing to people known for stealing bikes really burns me and is bad for all of us in many ways in the short and long term.
Someone please tell me this is all not happening, because if it is, I am firing my bike up... no, I am going to go STEAL a bike and encourage all my buddies to do the same and we are riding wheelies in the streets all in the name of Ethika, Monster Energy, Pro Circuit, Alpinestars and Deft.
When the judge asks why I shouldn't go to jail, I will say I thought it was OK because these great companies are all a supporting it.

Big, big difference between strong armed robbery and buying a bike with a bill of sale or even without thus receiving stolen property.
Another important topic in the thread was making it known to companies that do support Chino that he looks bad from our eyes, we were outraged at the fact they are supporting a person who has a criminal record and makes our sport look bad form the inside out. Some wanted to send them letters/emails/tweets and make them acknowledge the fact that that is who they are supporting and if they chose to continue to do so those who would like to can have a heads up and not support those companies.
I will never issue an apology to chino for this unless he were to help return the stolen bike back and show he has a backbone. Otherwise he deserves no apology for making our sport look like, to the masses, that we are people to be looked down upon. Its hard enough as it is to gain credibility riding and racing and trying to convince people how great, difficult, and rewarding our sport is when we have people like him affiliated with it.

496d. (a) Every person who buys or receives any motor vehicle, as

415. (a) A "motor vehicle" is a vehicle that is self-propelled.
The dude should be in jail if he knew the bike was stolen and rode / kept it anyway. End of story.
A resolution is in order. If this thread goes into the dumbgeon unanswered or just fades away with no conclusion, Some of us will be left with no choice but to think that the sponsors choose this path and I for one will not be a part of it.
I work too hard for my money to spend it with companies who support those who are damaging the sport we love from within. Am I supposed give money to companies who support and encourage the lifestyle of a group who may end up riding any of my buddies bikes on public streets?

But, here's the thing...there are legitimate questions & there are legitimate answers...most of which won't be found on a Moto-Forum on the Inter-Webs...
I've done a little bit of homework and have had some comm's with others that've done the same: WHO actually stole the bike is an open question. I'm sure some of you will have a red-hot-arguemnt over that issue...and...let's be clear...there's A LOT of "hearsay" in all of this...A Helluva Lot.

When you're all over the Web riding someone's STOLEN MOTORCYCLE...? You need to give some answers...some clarity...some honesty would be damn nice, too.

Slandering, which means making a false statement about someone, is serious and not OK in my book. I can relate because I have been slandered in the past as well for something I obviously didn't do. Fortunately for me, I am surrounded by quality people, have a good history and reputation and have earned the business and also any ride support I have acquired over several decades. As a result, none of the BS got any traction.
On this note, I have never been spotted on a stolen bike or ridden a bike illegally on public roads with disregard to law abiding citizens then posted my video for anyone to see. Maybe someone here has said something about him that is not true, but in the end, he posted the video of himself breaking the law or at least knew who did so is that slander or self incrimination?
Most here have only stated what they have seen and asked for an explanation from him and/or those supporting it or if he is still doing these things. At this point, I think there is enough information to justify some sort of reply from him and those involved. By now I would imagine he has seen this thread and avoiding it or not answering the questions posed will only make him look worse no matter what the real truth is.
Do you know him? Maybe you can tell us if he is still pulling illegal stunts on the streets while somehow still being supported by the best companies in our industry? It seems to me like this couldn't possibly be.

In case you are unaware, riding and popping wheelies on a stolen, uninsured, unlicensed motorcycle on public roads is illegal. Doing so, does not make you any more of a man, or a badass, than the steaming three ringer I dropped in the bowl this morning, makes me a sewer worker in Baltimore. ( FYI, that thing was so magnificent, I gave it a nickname, corn and all. Hammertime, that's what I called it.) Ironically, that little gem I sent to oblivion, is pretty much about the same as where you rank in this world, and just because you have achieved some degree of notoriety for your rather laughable skills, does not mean you have any real value, or positive contributions as of yet. However, there is a place you can start, and that is by contacting Mr Day, and get this whole "In possession of his stolen bike" issue resolved. Until such time as this occurs, your rank on this little globe, in my eyes, will never change.
The next step, although some years away, since I'm told you are still in high school, would be something we adults know as "Gainful employment"'. More importantly, once you graduate, might I suggest packing your bags for North Dakota, to work in the oil patch. This will will accomplish two things: you will become familiar with words like "sweat", "sore muscles", "frostbite", and lastly, "paycheque". Second, with approximately 6 weeks of net earnings, you will be able to acquire a brand new motorcycle, with "cash". Models identical to the ones you have, you know, stumbled upon as they lay abandoned in the streets of your city. Models which will be owned and titled in your name, legally. I do recommend however, you find secure storage and strong locks for your new possessions, as there are nefarious characters around, who'd relieve you of them. ( oh, the irony )
On a final note, allow me to caution you, with some sage advice I was given. At all costs, including having your self committed to a mental institution, as a last resort, absolutely, POSITIVELY, avoid a a career as as a Real Estate agent. Generally a field populated with charlatans, shysters, liars, and flat out thieves, it has been proven through science, the average participant has an IQ slightly higher than a a single celled amoeba, known to eat bacteria in an outhouse. The sole purpose of their existence, is geared towards acquiring their own wealth, at the expense of absolutley everyone on this planet. Truth be told, you are better off in your current state, with more respect from society, than the members of that not so esteemed field.

BTW, you will require a passport and no criminal record, the border people tend to be a little anal about those things.

Edit: I decided to actually read the interview and I find it odd that you mention the fact that they have 60 some bikes but you never mentioned the part where he said "Then one day we’re just gonna do the biggest bike giveaway ever and make some kids dreams come true." It was in the same answer.
