So I started seeing these photos pop up of a CR125 on social media that said "fuel injected" on the radiator shroud. Meh, just graphics. But a shot of the motor finally popped up.

It's in a 2013 chassis, too. Sorry if it has been posted. KTM motor, CRF250 chassis. I don't even know what to call it.

Nice I posted this in the two stroke thread a few days ago when it popped up on FB. I just may have to do a similar build over the winter. It's going to be a long one may as well.

become intimately familiar with microsquirt, a megasquirt product.

it's doable. the problem is lack of plenum volume for air metering purposes. once you get your partial-throttle maps ironed out though, the possibilities are endless.

Awesome. Being a 125 rider Id like to ride one just wonder how much a person would actual benefit from it in a 125. A 250 would be so sweet.

I wish somebody would just produce a Direct Injected bike so I don't have to hear how it will change the world.

I am far from a Honda guy or a 125 guy, but that thing is a work of art. Very cool build. Not quite as cool as that '86 CR250 rebuild thread I've been catching up on lately with Ti everythaaang.

Gets better gas mileage and less emissions.....Has 1 more HP. However, as you can see has all kinds of dodads that will leave you stranded on the trail and make it impossible to diagnose. It is important to note that this is just a throttle body injection, not true fuel injection and a far cry from direct injection. None of which belong on a 2 stroke dirt bike. Did I mention it costs $1500 more????

Cool is what I'd call it, even if it's not DI. Still, some serious time into that whole project, and using the uber expensive NGK cap and plug in it, I think the plugs are 50-80 bucks, depending on who's selling them.

Some really nice workmanship there, clearly this project did not originate in Maumee, Ohio. Evil

It would be interesting to see a dyno back to back with a smart carb
