Woods Cross, Utah (November 5th, 2014) – Rockwell Watches is pleased to announce the signing of Paul Lindsey as the Team Manager for the Rockwell Watches Supercross Racing Team. Lindsey has a storied history in the motocross industry and will be taking the Rockwell team on the road to compete in the 2015 AMA Monster Energy Supercross 250SX West Coast Series.

Here’s what Lindsey had to say about the new partnership: “I have always been a big fan of the Rockwell brand and everything [they have] accomplished over the last ten years. This is such a huge honor for me to finally get to work with all of them, and was actually a big part of my decision to accept the position. I’ve been pretty fortunate throughout my career to receive some very flattering phone calls with similar offers to manage another race team, but none of them really felt right until now. Rich and I share the same vision of taking what they currently have in place and trying to make even bigger for 2015, and I can’t wait to get started!”

Lindsey has a long list of accomplishments as a Team Manager, and Rockwell is excited to have him on board.

Paul Lindsey
- Raced MX/SX professionally from 1985 to 2001
- Raced full time internationally in 23 different countries from 1992 to 2001
- First Team manager job was with Tecate Kawasaki of Mexico, then the following year with Planet Honda
- Team owner/Manager of MotoworldRacing.com from 2001 to 2008
- During that span received factory support from both Yamaha and Suzuki and managed team to 19 podiums, including 4 wins, in major AMA competition with talented riders such as Andrew Short, Justin Brayton, Branden Jesseman, David Vuillmin, Gregg Schnell, Daryl Hurley, Damon Huffman and many more.
- Two time nominee for Monster Energy AMA Supercross Team Manager of the year award (2006 & 2007)
- Team Manager for Team USA at the 1999 FIM Motocross Des Nations in Brazil
- Been working various broadcasting/announcing jobs since closing the team down as well as rider support and marketing.

Nice, I would like to see the team do well. I like Paul, as long as I don't have to hear him talk.

Nico is their only planned rider at the moment. They plan to do West coast SX for 2015 as a building year. Hopefully grow for 2016.

Good luck!

Paul is definitely a good dude. I first met him when he was the promoter of the Pikes Peak Supercross race. I wanted to help out with the track before I was actually even racing and he definitely took care of those that were helping out. Still a guy that we see at the tracks locally from time to time and is a cool guy to have a conversation with.

He's a good manager and great guy, so that's good news.
It will also be great news if this keeps him from the webcast.

I produced the first Television coverage for the Pikes Peak Supercross. I busted my ass to give Paul and his partner
free TV coverage at the TV station I work at. How did he thank me? By going behind my back and making his own
deal with the sponsors and the TV station I worked for.
Paul is not to be trusted with your future career plans. You have been warned.

I don't know anything about your dealings with Paul, however, that was not the first television coverage of the Pikes Peak Supercross. I am the original owner of the PPSX. We had tv coverage as early as 1989.

Ha, this just got interesting! So, gonna sit there and type like you don't remember who produced the first show.
Mark Fleisha is your last name? I still have the shows and can post them on YouTube for you.
Mine, which was the first year, then the following year, which you met with my bosses, got sponsors, Honda, and Rick Johnson
on rehab at the Olympic Training Center and produced the show that I went to college to make.
Your show sucked cause they didn't know motocross.
I'm not bitter cause life is bout the journey. I used my student loans and communications degree in some very
unexpected opportunities.

"I'm not bitter" but I'm going to go on the most prominent moto board in the industry and throw mud on people over something that happened over 25 years ago.

It's unfortunate that you feel that you have been wronged. However, if you displayed the same brand of professionalism twenty five years ago that you're demonstrating here tonight I can begin to understand why some of these guys might not be too enthused about continuing a business relationship with you.

Just a little insight into crappy TV coverage and why it mostly sucks.
The people who dedicate there lives to it were squeezed out for a buck.

It's unfortunate that you feel you have to justify the behavior of others.

Still happy Paul landed this gig. Didn't really care for his announcing part of his career.....but sounds like a good dude and happy he got on with Rockwell.
