Has Ronnie Mac been consulted on this?

Seemed like he gelled with Yamahas back in amateur days. Granted it's been awhile since then but here's to hoping he finds some of that confidence again.

Would be nice seeing him able to find something that works for him. He's a rough past couple seasons that's for sure.

Does this mean we'll see his 'alter ego', Ronnie Mac, on a YZ now?

Ronnie Mac was still making videos on his Honda when Jimmy Albertson was on a KTM at the end of the year. So I'm guessing Ronnie keeps the same ride!

I wonder if Motosport or Crossland Racing will still be his main sponsors?

I dig the videos though I would like to see Jimmy get some top tens. Perhaps the Yamaha will breath new energy into his career.

I'm speculating here. I would say yes to Motosport and no to Crossland. My theory is based on who he tags on instagram.

I always got the impression that Crossland Racing was some rich guy from Oklahoma who was a fan of the sport and wanted to help out some fellow Okies.

Hasnt Matthiss tweeted or speculated that maybe Weimer was talking with them? If so, then I would think this Crossland guy is wanting to go outside supporting his favorite rider(Albertson) and have better results and exposure.

Shades of Mike Genova without the clown show.

He actually is in Northwest Arkansas (where I live). I do know that he is a fan of the sport.

Jimmy and Crossland are going their separate ways. . Motosport and Fly Racing (Western Powersports) will be a big part of the 2015 program, and the full announcement will be coming very soon. The team will retain all their long term sponsors that they brought to Crossland with the addition of few new larger players. Merge Racing Technologies will continue to do engine and suspension work.

Yea the addition of the larger players is something I'm really excited about. I will be pulling for Jimmy Albertson Racing in 2015.

I doubt they'll make Top Jimmy pit out of a Sprint van.

Diesel Motorcoach with tricked out stacker trailer. It will have a very nice appearance in the pits.

He better have some deal where he's not driving to all the races. If he's gonna improve, he has to be able to train consistently during the week.

I have seen it written many times and have to ask. What is with this "top Jimmy" thing? What does that mean?

Matthes gave him the nickname from the Van Halen song.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Please tell me Jimmy does not acknowledge that nickname.

Don't mean to be negative, but I've seen that name thrown around and always thought it could really only be used by a kid on a pw50.

I hope he does well on the blue bike. Is Steve Underwood helping him at all this year?
