Ill drop a review on you guys when I get back Cool

PS> Funny sidebar I was telling my woman about it and how cool it is based on who made it, who is in it, the quality of the filming (shots angles, definition etc) and telling her how big of a deal it is ..... her response (typical) Soooooo its a movie about mortorcycles, just motorcycles right? Soooo I dont see whats such a bige deal.....hmmmm thems fightin words I may just have to leave her there and cut her loose hahaha

Cant wait to check this out, ESPECIALLY after watching Robbie Maddison's part, that was Dirt-Nasty!!!

Great film! The Harley "Speedway" racing alone is worth the price of admission!

Just saw it in Clackamas Oregon in a sold out house full of motoheads. Had a great time. Could've had a little more motocross and less moto gp. Or just been all motocross but that's probably just me. Seeing Doug Henry hanging with Travis Pastrana was my favorite part.

I went to it with my old man and a bunch of moto buddies last night, awesome movie! I enjoyed the hell out of it. Afterwards we all stood in the halls and bench raced about the flick, great time

Great to see moto on the bid tele. Here in the hoosier state Indianapolis the motor racing capital and all the theater was pretty empty.

We really liked it and hopefully when we move out to Cali we can visit every moto site we can.

Good movie made from a great one.

I would love to see the original on the big screen.

If they don't win an Academy Award there is no justice in the world. It is the second best motorcycle movie ever madeCool (the first was the best obviously). I noticed that my son and I were some of the younger folks there.

Anybody know if it's gonna be shown anywhere in arkansas?

I think everyone in Northern California knows Stockton, and that it's a shit hole. My buddy and I were two of only four people at the 11:45 am showing. Hopefully the later shows packed up, there are tons of moto heads in the surrounding areas.

I'm glad glad you made it out of Linden alive being that its littered with bodies from the Speed Freak Killers. Shocked

Saw it in Thousand Oaks this morning. Thought it was pretty cool. I was in high school when the original came out and went to see it over and over again. Still watch it from time to time on DVD or the iPad. Can't wait to get the new one on Blu-Ray so I can watch it a few more times.

It would be nice to see some Supercross in it and a little more moto and off road. Still enjoyed it. Seemed to go by so fast. I guess even if it was 4 hours long I would still be wanting more.

See it if you can.

I just saw it here in Sterling Heights MI. It was awesome! I wish it was twice as long though. I hope they eventually release it on DVD with a bunch of bonus footage. My girlfriend went with me and she was amazed at how many different types of racing there are. The Doug Henry/Travis Pastrana footage was amazing!

My wife and I went to see it this morning here in Houston. 11:40 AM show. We were 2 of 3 people in the theater. Pretty disappointing turn out but the film as great. Really made me want to get out and ride again, Been out of the sport for about 5 years now. I agree that it is not as life changing for me as the original film was 40+ years ago but very much worth seeing. My wife loved the speedway footage and the Day in the Dirt footage really showed us guys in a good light.

I went with the girlfriend last night, had to drive a little ways, couldn't go to the 7:30 showing because it was sold out (which was awesome) so we ended up going at 10 and there was a decent crowd. Awesome film, not as good as the original but nothing could be! I would see it again if I can get some moto-heads to go with me. I think it's only in theaters until Monday by me. Not sure if that's true everywhere else. Everybody should get out and see this movie!

Saw it yesterday. No Isle of man or Supercross in the movie. I didn't realize why until after the movie my buddy reminded me it was produced by Red Bull Media. So it was more or less a Red Bull commercial. It was still good but could have been better.

One of the people I went to see it with made they comment that they didn't show any Supercross or very much about RV2. We went to lunch when it dawned on me why. A shame because they could had told so many great stories. I guess I compare it to much to the original but that was in a much different time.

Hope it makes Dana some $$ so his future projects won't be so commercialized. Other than that it was a fun way to spend 2hrs. I did like the ending soundtrack ... nice omage to OAS1.

Can't imagine they'll make much money off of it. There were about 17 people in the theater yesterday when I went and I bought 10 of those tickets. The other 7 were also with us. But then it probably didn't cost a lot to make since much of the footage already existed and most/all of the main characters were already sponsored by Red Bull.

Fun flick....some great sequences, but all Dana's films are the same. Step Into Liquid...D2G...and this one. They are basically the same movie. Cheesy voice over that is too present instead of letting images and sequences speak, painfully over emphasized "family" or "community" angle, obligatory feel good segment about 2/3 of the way through, and overall tone of lifestyle advertisement, like he is trying to hard to convince the audience how cool his subjects are. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but Dana's voice over makes me cringe at this point. He needs to stick to producing, and get real writers and a real voice over actor to do the narrative.

Flame away....

Saw it yesterday and enjoyed it, but if I didn't know it was underwritten by Red Bull I would after seeing it because their athletes were featured so heavily - Robbie Madison, Pastrana and Stewart, among others. It was shot in 2013, so I would expect Villapoto to show up, but nope. They also went really long on MotoGP and skipped Supercross altogether. Not sure what that's all about.

Possibly has to do with the fact that Feld owns all rights to film Supercross. The main reason why gopro is one of the only companies to release official supercross footage all the time since they sponsor the series and why Troy Adamitis was only able to film motocross races for his The Moto: Inside the outdoors and The Great outdoors series until Feld gave him the "OK" to do a supercross show.
