I just got this barn find done its a 2008 nothing real fancy PC pipe & silencer rad valve Dunlop mx32's clark black tank guts seat cover UFO restyle fenders and plates but I like std tank shrouds .

Even though I have vivid memories of how badly my YZ handled in stock form, seeing some of the examples in this lengthy thread make me want another! Especially a '15. I bought my '09 brand new (first and only so far) and there was something so dope about having a virgin bike. Especially a 2-quacker.

I know that I wouldn't be first in line for it but it does look VERY appealing and this bike definitely looks better and has better lines than the new 16 KTM.

Keep the steel frame for the 2st with some other updates and Kawi would be onto a winner (in my eyes). No need for aluminium.

Is there a huge demand for new 2stroke bikes. Are they outselling the 4strokes are the OEM's making more money out of 4stroke parts than 2stroke parts?
