I got it today and I'm impressed. All the cellar super retards were wrong. Nice job Nordic Games, I'm buying everything you have to offer and can't wait for the next series.......The pre load and clutch are great as well as the limited crashing and dragging by the hay bales.....Its great to have supercross and away from the lame boring outdoor tracks.......

How long do you anticipate it holding your attention?
I could still play Unleashed for hours but the rest of the games bore me after a week.

I agree 100% It's a challenge and will take a good amount of time to get really good at any aspect of it. .

i can't say it's excellent yet as i only have 30 minutes with it. i'll be playing it all night tonight so i'll have more of a review tomorrow. i enjoyed the little time i've had with it so far and it seems like a really fun game once you get the hang of it.

i'm looking forward to unlocking all the good shit and getting it on.

i will say one thing, don't try to race PRO or ALL-TIME without a fully modded/upgraded bike. you WILL get your ass kicked. also, i'm planning on putting in a good 6 hours before i really make a judgement call on it. what i've seen so far i'm both impressed and a little let down (not a huge fan of the preload and leveling each individual bike).

Bunny hop button? that ought to tell you the IQ level of the reviewer. Its called pre load, a classic way to jump further.....It dates back to Motocross Madness the classic game by which all others are judged.

That was the trick for motocross madness to really pre load the shit out of jumps. You could make crazy gaps with stock bikes . There were a lot of hack bikes back in the day, but TTM outed their asses.....

It's pretty fun to play, a little too much like Reflex, but the tracks are cool and unlocking all of the add-on's is a challenge. I think it's worth the money.

I am pissed, I still don't have the game.

Ordered it online here in Aus as the outlet with the exclusive rights here in Aus had it ready to pre-order and promised the game would be shipped out the day before the release date. I thought cool, shipped out Monday, should have it on Tuesday (Release Date) or at least by today.

Then get an email today to say it has been shipped at 8am this morning! Yep day after release not the day before. Could have gone to the shops yesterday to pick it up, but now sitting here waiting another day, NOT HAPPY JAN.

Hanging to play it, sounds like it handles a little different to both Reflex and Alive, meaning a new challenge which is cool. Can't wait to get stuck into some long hours of online gaming Smile

I have to say its like reflex without the slippery nature.....Its not as flickable in the air and whips take experience (i don't have it yet!) but does not crash much and the player collision is strong.

Wow, I think he misses the monster trucks (lack of content lol)......Crock of shit review ....the game is good and challenging.....the whipping and scrubbing aspect is true to a point, but im sure a modded up bike with a pro level player can do it well.........Wow thats crazy....almost like real life...weird...

Its $30.00 and the only other game is MXGP.....Really? The MX community should get behind these game designers and support the cause. Whats the alternative? Nothing.......And dont start that MX Sim shit , very few people have a desktop PC anymore.....

do you have to use the two toggle set up? or can you play it like MXGP?
my hands can't handle the two toggles, I need the X gas left toggle to steer set up

Love it, played 2 hours straight. It's definitely going to take some time to get used to the new mechanics and tracks, but I really like it. I noticed that after you unlock the factory chassis, the bike gets a little too hyper for me. I'll probably leave the stock chassis on it and run upgraded everything else for now.

Also, I don't know about you guys, but I can scrub pretty decently. Haven't been able to whip very well yet, but the scrubs are getting there.

No stores on my way home had it either. Just did the download version and played 1 race. I liked it but it will take some time to get used to. I'll be playing for a few hours tonight for sure. But I don't think it is like reflex at all. I didn't play alive for more than 10 minutes and my old PS3 died. By time I bought another console I didn't get back into it.
