Danny Mac is a total talent on two wheels, that scenery in the Cuillins on Skye is epic, one of my favourite places to escape to.
Have you seen him on KTM's E version of the freeride? I think with a bit of practice he'd make an awesome hard enduro rider, pretty sure he rides a gas gas txt for shits and giggles, would like to see what he could do on an EXC given time......

Edit: I like my dh bars to be close to the width of my moto bars.
Here is my 3 year old Mason on his Spawn Furi 14' wheel bike. He's kicking ass on it and loves the lift acess trails at the end of our street @ Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.
Here's my Evil Undead.
Broke my neck and back on this beautiful steed at red bull rampage last week. Thankful I'm walking and will still mtb and moto again. I have to sell her though..
Pit Row
Get well soon man.
Sweet bike!
I wish the camera crew would have done a better job as showing the severity of the Rampage venue. They had some great shots, but I don't think they did the scene justice.
In the beginning they had the commentator dude walk up to the edge of Lecondeguy's 76ft drop, but the camera didn't even walk up to the edge. Totally blew the opportunity to illustrate the gap.
Something a little different
Converted my 26" DJ bike for street use.. Single speed, ridged fork, maxxis hookworms
Like you said, the cameras do nothing to do that place justice. Most places you literally cannot even walk. I just don't think there is a way to show really how steep and big and crazy that stuff is, I really had no idea until I was walking on it. Lacondeguys drop was insane, insane doesn't even describe it, his whole run was nuts, when a guy like that, doesn't want to take his second run, you know its gnarly. Paul didn't want to go off that drop and thats why we ended up going outside and I found that line and it ended up working out great with a huge canyon gap that we built that ended up being 57 feet. Being there in person is crazy, if anyone ever has a chance to go, I highly recommend it, it just a crazy thing to see in person. But check out Pauls go pro run, thats the line I kind of designed and worked on before I crashed, but my buddies finished out the build well.
Thanks for all the healing vibes guys, I really am happy as possible and just thankful to be walking, I have some really bad breaks and actually got up walked off the mountain, went back and showered before I decided to go to the hospital. Scary stuff for sure.
Hope you heal up safely. Neck and back is no joke that's for sure.
I travel to Dillon/Silverthorne a couple times per year for work and could bring my Trek hardtail pretty easily. Think as a beginner without a full suspension bike I'd end up dead if I tried riding Keystone?
For a hardtail, I would definitely recommend Winter Park before Keystone. I saw the most hardtails at Winter Park for sure. Keystone was the toughest and most brutal of all of the bike parks in the area. Insanely long and rocky. Very trail-like and slower overall, and rough!
Evolution Park at Crested Butte is my 2nd favorite of the 3 parks I visited. It was flowy, jumpy and smooth, but way too short.
That's where Winter Park comes in. It is flowy, fun and smooth like Crested Butte, but long like Keystone, so I think it has the best of both worlds.
Keystone is the biggest park with the most trails, Winter Park next size-wise, with Crested Butte coming in pretty small, but with the fewest bikers to get in your way. Winter Park was the busiest, but everybody is real nice about getting the hell out of your way.
The summer seasons are short in the mountains, so plan accordingly. The bike parks all closed over the last few weeks, but the snow is on the way!
