I've been looking for a project bike for a while.... But I'm waiting for just the right one to come my way. This one popped up on Facebook and I just thought..... Wow, WTF made someone think that this looked better than the stock scheme!?!

Guy keeps telling me how nice it is, and how rigid he is on his price, and I keep bringing up the spray painted tank.....

Apparently, he couldn't afford a Monster Kawi. Went the custom route. Nice job.

I've actually looked at your bike a few times and decided it was too nice to contact you!!

I've been looking for something that needs bottom end work. I've never split cases before, and wanted to give it a go! Yours would take all the project fun out if it!! Lol

That is so cool! Most people avoid splitting the cases. You're looking for the opportunity!

I don't ever pay anyone to split my cases Bro. I just dump a half quart of Slik50 in with my premix and I'm golden!

http://erie.craigslist.org/mcy/4669319049.html Here you go just needs the cases split for $550. Oh maybe a 6 hour drive to get it.

We bought it as a project and put a new crank, piston, gaskets, igniting, inner tubes and a few other things into it. And also cleaned it up nice. Had it running but there was a shifting issue. We took it back apart and fixed the shifting issue. But it didn't seal properly and there is an air leak so it won't start. There is compression. I do not have time to work on it because of college. I am taking a big loss on the bike but it is taking up garage space. 550 no trades.

Your bike is a beauty, DO NOT SELL IT! (unless I can justify buying it off you for nostalgic reasons...)

yes scooter.

You can consider that thing sold if you can wait a couple of weeks. I'm coming home to move my wife out west, we'll be coming up through Saginaw, over the Mack and west to Alberta. As long as you're flexible on the time we can meet up, that looks like a nice piece. If it shifts and runs well, I'll take it with me.

Figured I would jump in on the project bike offering-

00 YZ 125 rebuilt as a 144, needed to send the head out to get it properly cut squish for 144 and get some boyzen intake parts.... Then I got a KTM 150 and moved to New York, never finished my project bike...It's rather well done, new bearings in linkage and wheels, graphics and plastics, had low hours originally from ohio. Needs about 4 hours put in to complete ( including leak down test etc ) ... Make an offer, dad wants the garage back, bike is in Brighton , MI
