the film is great, thank you. But you really dont mention how the bike works? We already know of the changes. Can you tell us your thoughts on the new engine package, forks, clutch, ect...have you rode a 2013/2014? how is it different on the track?

thank you

That's incorrect. Trey was running KYB's PSF1 forks for the final three nationals. He didn't race with or test KYB SSS forks.

Those tanks are nice!

The bike is £8899.00, or $14,417.18 USD.

You can buy the alloy tank for $810.41 USD.

$14500? For that bike ? Are they crazy? I can buy a crf450 and build it better and nicer for way under that.I love the ktm fe but sopposeably the new fe is gna have a really hefty price tag as well. Yea its great they offer it, but ask anyone who owns 1, if u buy a bike for 10k when the next model yr comes out your lucky to get$6500 for it really makes it not werth it

The tank itself is nearly $1k, do you expect it for free?

The way I see it, if you can afford one then great, if you cant what is the point in moaning...???

And the KYB PSF1 forks similar to the ones on the 2015 ML512?

I guess i dont see the big deal of the tank. I couls careless about 1k for a tank. Show me suspension that makes a diffrence thats not offered to the general public. I like the honda, and if you ve seen my bikes i build very nice bikes. So for 14k i can build 1 sic bike

I think the UK Honda importer offers this special edition model - Plus I think they say they still give you all of the stock parts, fuel tank, wheels, exhaust and clamps for example. It might be cheaper if Honda of Japan were to build the bike like KTM does with the FE,

Well great.

After an 8 year layoff due to the kid racing I spring for the 14 model and then hear how great the 15 model is.

I financed the bike and I'm sure I'm upside down at this point. I would need to eat a 3K on a trade.

Suspension is getting revalved tonight. In a few months I wll buy a Vortex ECU and a Yosh pipe and just ride it.

I feel the bike is in stock form a really good for the regular guy. It's light and easy to ride and the power delivery is really smooth and the three mappings actually change how the bike feels and handles. Here is video we made from the press launch a month ago. Just skip to 3.00 if you don't feel like listening to Finnish and want to check some riding footage with Gajser, JMB & us.

I haven't ridden the 15 CRF450R but I like the 14 CRF450R! I think it's much better than the 09-12 models myself so just enjoy it and don't ride a 15 Smile

Picked up our 15 CRF450 today from @malcolmsmithmotorsports It will be on the dyno first thing in the morning. Maybe I'll find a fast kid to race it soon.

Sweet! Now maybe we can get some real input.

Not that the other opinions weren't valid. I just value Don's more than some.

One point to consider is that even that the stock bike might quiet and slow, you are probably faster on it than one with pipe and everything. I had a pipe, pro flow air filter, different mappings, suspension valved and other stuff done to my 2014 CRF450R and it felt really good and fast when riding it. Then I rode it back to back with my brothers stock one (nothing done) and I was a few seconds faster on it and I didn't get tired so fast.

Good point, a lot of people dont get that..... they think they are faster on a bike that hits harder than pornstar ....hmm maybe not a good analogy? lol

This is UK pricing converted is USD. You couldn't do any of the things you mentioned in UK at UK prices. For reference petrol/gas is around $8/US Gal....
