Haven't watched Utah yet so won't comment. I totally get what they're trying to do, but on the other hand wonder if it's worth bring the mountain to muhammed sometimes.

The argument is you go there, there is facilities you can take advantage of etc. Understand they probably couldn't bring that level of facility to say Indiana or Budds Creek etc, but on the other hand, does it look like a good deal to potential sponsors when the track is being blown away in a dust storm? Or the track itself is maybe not really what Moto can and should be about?

Hard one for sure

Yeah tracks were great this year. I can't wait to see how a dry Indiana looks. Millville was the definitely the best track and of course Red Bud was the best atmosphere. It was cool to see Glen Helen back. Now if we can only swap the Miller SX track for Southwick it'd be perfect.

Tracks were awesome this year. Really sucks that Peters couldn't show off Indiana the way that it should have been. Actually Miller MX looked way better then last years track. Ol' Mother nature can sure do some weird things to tracks. Making great tracks good and making good tracks great.

Who's to say what a motocross track can and should be about? The historical argument isn't a very solid one...

Ok.

Well you look at Indiana and then Utah and tell me which one you'd rather ride/attend. Common sense wins that one sorry.

And if you're ok with the historical argument being a non issue then why change it to Utah, Lake Elsinore, Pala, Daytona, plus half a dozen stadiums.

I'll tell you why. Because that ISN'T motocross.

All the riders thought Utah was better this time around, but they generally thought it could have used some 180s to slow it down, and have a longer lap time.

The rain was a wildcard for sure. It came around really well during the day, but without the rain would have been even faster.

Don't care for them making the track owners cut down their tracks to limit lap times for TV.

Other than that.. was a great series, good tracks (minus Utah again), and a fun season to watch.

Well then why the hell did they change to MavTv. . .

I'm still waiting to see some comparative ratings from last season to this season. Guaranteed the first motos were seen by half the viewers from last year.

And yes, I'm still butt hurt about that move. Nothing like having a big HD TV only to have to watch the moto's online or in standard definition at best. . . And there aren't any reputable carriers that offer MavTv in my area.

Looks like not many true motocrossers really like Utah? Including me. Seems like a large supercross race? A Daytona feeling event??? 100% Man made tracks really don"t belong in the outdoor motocross series. We have supercross for that. What do you think???

Doesn't Lucas own Mav?
Seems obvious, if that is true.

Thanks, and in no particular order, motocross is about rider satisfaction and safety, diversity, location, competitiveness, fans, parking, television, soil, weather, partnerships, viability, accessibility (Zaca Station and Castillo Ranch are great tracks that lack this) and much, much more... I think we did our best and came out with a very good and diverse and entertaining series.

Thanks to the riders, the fans, the teams, the sponsors, the officials, the promoters and the people who put it all on TV.

And thanks for all the feedback here, fellow Vitals.

I thought it was one of the best seasons in a long time. The 450 championship wasn't decided until the last round. There were 3 or 4 riders that could win each race. The top 5-10 were close and had a lot of passing back and forth. None of the top 20 left because of major injury (that I can think of). We had live racing coverage.... what's not to like????

Good job to those in charge and putting in the blood, sweat, and tears.

Most computers have an hdmi hookup. I would just pull up the live stream every weekend and hook my computer up to my 40 inch TV through an hdmi chord. Quality was fine and it was a lot better than watching them on a computer screen.

If anyone missed any motos, this YT channel posts most if not all of the races: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChK2iIEEG_SHn0VCL1LdaKQ
