Yeah everything is in place apparantly, as long as he gets the thumbs up from his doctor about his knee, then he will race MXGP in 2015. Unless he makes a dramatic u-turn of course lol

a bad start woul put you indeed in 24th place and halfway season probably in 16th place.

Last Gp's (overseas) probably in 10th ....

My question ... if everything is so amazing and the level is so high in the worldchampionship.... why is almost no one doing the last 2 Gp's this season.

I remember a PR where i was told ... the overseas are so important for the industry, sponsors and teams ...

cost i should think (why not so many teams making the trip to mexico and brazil) - the smaller teams probably cant justify the cost! cant blame them really

Nobody wants to put up a 7 digit race fee, get no purse, and have to travel to thailand, qatar, brazil, and mexico.

It sounds insane just typing it.... Many talented euro riders would rather ride smaller series and make some money, or at least not have to pay to race.

This is a bit premature IMO. Nothing has been decided coming from every source I trust. It is definitely possible that he ends up there but to say that it only comes down to doctor approval is misleading.

If RV does the MXGP would KTM think about moving JH up so they would have two chances at the title? RV would probably only do one year and retire. I'm sure JH would love to race him knowing he might not be there the next year.

You forgot karro and nicholls... thats 24, mad class.. GL plan is working just fine.
2016 add herlings tixier and guillod..

I think in future more riders from mx2 will go to usa as its easier lol.

I really really hope RV goes , but I ll be shocked if he does . What odd s would you give JT$, do you think it is 50/50 .cause that would be high IMO. I think its going to be a long off season till everyone knows . Just the same as would he or would nt he ride the national s, again I really hope I am wrong and he does

Factory Honda might as well be one of the best bikes in the world. Would like to think someone more consistent wants the spot. Can be a good thing for Tixier going to a team where he has the chance of being the top guy. Can't grip that Dixon have so much problem with the Yamaha when everyone else seems to be more than fine with it.

I read this earlier today, very good news, although I was hoping for a KTM based contract. Jonte (owner of Team JE68, Bengtssons current team) have been doing all he can to get him on a KTM based team.
