My guess is that if he doesn't return to form this weekend it is Dungey's championship to lose.

1-1 to secure it

bummer to see him kind of give the last couple away and get beat so badly... totally opposite of even just a few races ago where he whooped everyone at RedBud.

I think this kind of stuff gets in Kenny's head too easy and it drags him down. I don't care who wins it as I'm a Tomac fan. I think Tomac being back just throws a kink in the whole thing and I love it. I'm looking for to the next three weeks!!

Dungey's career numbers at Unadilla: 2, 2, 2,1, 2, 1, 3

Roczen's career numbers at Unadilla: 3,3

hmmm tough call. Obviously the dunge dizzle has the momentum right now and has a ton of podiums at 'Dilla but is anyone really going to be surprised if Kenneth Kaniff comes back strong ? I honestly don't know and that, besides it being my local track, the fact that RJ and Luke will be debuting, is why I'm so pumped for Unadilla. If I had to guess I say RD goes 2,1 and Kenny goes 1,2 which if you're Kenny I think you'd take any day of the week to not give up more points.

So the best Tomac can do then is 3,3.....

What he said. Dungey runs off a string of moto wins. You heard it here first.

I really like Roczen...but I'm afraid we might be seeing his typical 2nd half of the season slump.

It has to be rattling him a little bit to be trying to figure things out (didn't he say he needed to jump in the pool or something like that?) this far into the season...

I'd love to see it come down to a Dungey/Roczen fight to the last corner of the last moto of the season in Utah, for the title. So I'm okay with a couple more "off" races for Roczen just so it'll make the last round interesting. And then I wouldn't care who won the actual title.

It's going to be good that's all I know. Stewart may be back and Tomac in the mix to effect the results as well. Maybe Canard will be up there too.

I agree. I think if (a BIG if) Dungey can go 1-1 again and Roczen does 3-3, then Dungey will be sitting pretty. But who knows? Maybe Roczen will come out swinging and go 1-1.

I do remember in 2011, Dungey had the momentum against RV leaving Washougal, and after the two week break, RV was a new man and Dungey seemed to have lost all his momentum. A lot of people think the gas DNF at Texas cost Dungey the title in 2011, but I think it was Unadilla where RV came back swinging that Dungey lost the title. After Washougal, Dungey was 1 point behind RV, and was wearing RV down quickly. Then RV got a much needed break, a new bike, and seemed to take control.

I think moto 1 will tell the tale. If no one has issues and Ken takes a distant 2nd or 3rd (or worse we will have our answer, If he comes out and wins again immediately then the ball is back in his court imho. Can't wait to see it all play out!

I think if KRoc even finishs 2nd or 3rd, but is within even 10 seconds of Dungey its not over...but if Dungey comes out and smokes him by a minute again...then, well...I'm afraid Roczen is going to be at the mercy of Dungey and the motogods (and Dungey has lost more than one title due to very rare mechanicals...so its not out of the question).

So much better to be in Dungey's position right now, he doesn't have to care, he can afford to just let at it with everything he's got. If he pulls it off it's kudos to him.

Kenny's been on point all year, if he doesn't get it done it'll cement a lot of people's thoughts about him withering a bit late in the series and he'll probably carry that stigma for a while.

So much rather be Dunge right now!

That had a whole heck of a lot more to do with the revamped 2012 KXF frame than anything else. RV later said that the first time he rode the bike he knew he liked it much better just riding from the truck to the track entrance, it was that drastic of an improvement for him. If Kawi hadn't changed the bike that year I think Dungey takes it.

We all know KROC has not done well at the end of the season, but he has been training with Aldon and you would think he is better prepared. So I am not 100% convinced it is his endurance that is an issue but his mental state. And I think it is Tomac coming back and racing him and KROC is losing his edge a bit.
