Racer92,

Doesn't matter to me who you are friends with. This is a MX/SX board, not a fanboy board for posters. Who cares if someone is "clicked"? If they were, there's a reason for it. I don't know the issues with "BL" but it doesn't matter. This is a place for talking racing.

Yeah, you can have an opinion, but realize that those who race are more in tune with what other racers experience.

Thanks for giving me the definitive definition of what this board is and what is for. And here Ive been on Gibbys boards for over a decade and never picked up on that. (Texakins are slow like that, my bad)

So if I line up and race, I will have this "realization" and become more in tune?

Cant wait til I can someday race something and achieve this enlightenment ! I wanna be in the club!

Good luck to you. Let us know how your first race turns out. It's quite an experience that I'm sure you'll enjoy!

Sheesh! Lenny gets 6 pages. That's more than a JLAW thread!

Let him back in for a while.

I almost throw up before every start. Until someone races, they can't understand that.

Why get bent out of shape my friend? Do you race?

I used to race but was never nervous about it, where does that leave me? What about if a mom never raced but her kid does, Think you have more insight then they do? What about people who don't race but follow the sport closely, does mid pack C class Vet who doesn't follow the sport know more because he pukes on the starting line? Pro racers have some insight others can't but other than that it really don't mean a thing.
It doesn't matter if you got nervous or not. However, I suspect you can appreciate it more since you raced. Yeah, I have more insight than...

Yeah, I have more insight than a mother of a racer. Just as her son has more insight than she does because he's performed the activity while she's only spectated.
I think there are a few moms (and dads) that post here who would beg to differ.

Coming from a mini parent. Moto mini moms and moto mini dads are the worst. Always yelling at their kids to go faster. How about you get on the bike and see how hard it is. Moto parents don't have half the insight as their kid who is racing.

I think the parent of a top amateur or pro would have more insight than a 99% of recreational racers. This is off topic though,

I'd rather read what Big Lenny has to say than hear about EastFlorida's insight into vomit.

Simple question. How many forums has Lenny been clipped from? Is this a unique situation?

If it's gay to ask for someone to be clicked, isn't it equally gay asking for someone to be unclicked ?

What's ironic about people saying "just ignore his threads, posts, etc." is that BL felt the need to chime in on everything that even mentioned JS7. Most of the time he would add nothing to the conversation other than calling some person some stupid name if they thought ill of JS7. If he could have learned to not let things get so personal then I'm sure he'd still be posting, but GuyB had every right to click him off after numerous times to get it right.

Not that anyone cares, but here is my two cents about this, and I'll try to put this in a logical way.

I don't have an issue with Lenny, and I'll admit some of the stuff he does is pretty ingenious. I fell for "the bet" hook line and sinker, just like most of this forum, and although I think it was dumb you have to admit it was a pretty damn effective idea. I saw the thread that got Lenny canned and Lthought most of the stuff said was over the top, it seemed like Lenny really just got "Lennyed". By that, I mean someone threw the bait out there and he took it. I guess my point is it really isn't that hard to control what you post, and I don't understand in any way why self control is so hard for some people. If I recall, Lenny was the first to bring race into to the thread, and unfortunately some idiot took it way to far, however Lenny still followed him down into the hole and they both got clipped. Everyone saw it coming, so my question is why not just stop and remove yourself from the situation altogether? If this was a first time thing, I can understand the mistake, but to keep making the same mistake over and over again seems rediculous. The other issue I see is people completely enabling him on here. Posting things like "if you knew him in person you wouldn't be mad" or "he does more for the community than you would ever know" only allows justification of repeated screw ups, rather than finding a solution.

I'm sure he is probably a cool dude in real life, as most of the poster here probably are, but unfortunately we don't get to see that, so justifying actions based on that doesn't seem logical to me. I really enjoyed all the pictures he posted in his rare pictures thread, and he clearly knows a lot about the sport, but why keep making the same mistake over and over? It doesn't effect me in any way if he comes back or not, but hopefully this doesn't turn into a major meltdown. Just my thoughts, take it for what it is.

Nope, you are mistaken. The title of the thread was race bait, and the very first post was as well. You may not be old enough to remember the reasons why that restaurant chain went out of business. . . but I do as well as do many others.

Lenny got baited alright, but it was a nasty shitty setup. The other guy got clipped? So what? I didn't recognize him and I've been around since motonews and motodrive. (and Lenny's board). IMO it was a bullshit move, just like Smeg's little comments.

Oh well, they are both (all three actually) gone now good riddance for two of them. . .But if Lenny was to get clicked it shoulda been for something other than that. . .IMO

Since most of what gets posted here is bench racing about the amateur and pro ranks, I'll choose moto mom Kari Canard's "insight" over yours any day.

If people actually read (some) of his posts, he's actually pretty damn knowledgeable. I remember BL back in the sx.com days. Just let the guy back. Who knows what he's gotten himself into by now.

I can't get my head around Lenny. I was a hater when he was let back recently. Didn't know him from before that. His posting style can get annoying but when he is contributing to the threads and not baiting, he's actually pretty knowledgeable.

The part that was just unfortunate was him getting clipped over bickering back and forth over a racist deal when he was clearly not the instigator. I wish that circumstance was different. But GuyB was going through the whole deal with his mom and I'm sure he didn't really care what was going on, it was just bad timing on the whole deal.

At this point, I don't have a problem with BL. I think the board has bigger problem children.

Maybe the answer is moderating the board in a different way.
Don't need to read thru 8-12 pages to agree with this.
Me and BL had our differences and still to this day don't know why a bucket of chicken is racist because I love the shit out of chicken as the pic I posted shows but....YA... When BL is on it he's on it..but when he wants to bait as we know Tommy ... he can bait.

I guess you have to be on the boards awhile to get BL's humor....No harm no foul..
.BUT... Big Lenny knows he gets caught in his own line sometimes.

This is what creates the CLIKTY..CLIK..CLIK

We got guys that could give a shit about Lenny and/or bitch about this thread...real racers and what-not; yet, those guys drop by for multiple posts...10+ in the more notorious cases. Oh, and get this...they have an issue with BL and his multiple "useless" posts.

Well, ain't that funny?

Then there's us Fan Boys, Pathetics, Bieber Fans, Cult followers of an Idiot, Real Racers & Not So Real Racers, Race Moms that're just spectators (be sure to drop that on 35's mom or Trey's mom), Nut Huggers...did I leave anyone out?

Those of you with such a huge hard-on for Len have made my point.

Thank you.

Signed,

Manny - Probably just a Another Spectator...'cause my favorite thing in moto is watching the kids during the KTM Challenge during the SX season...you know...SPECTATING.

Lenny was a master at manipulating the worst out of others. The baiting and passive aggressive 1 line posts can really get people going. He could flip a topic like no other.

I get that some of you dont care about that...quite frankly I dont either. But Im betting that most of the "Lenny fans" are also die hard James Stewert fans....Therefore looking to Lenny to speak for you when any JS aggravation came up knowing Lenny would be the one taking the biggest risks for you with some of the crap he would say.

Ya gotta look at it as though Vital is GuyB's house.......and if you pee on the rug you should expect to get kicked out.

The way I see it ...the common denominator of ALL of Lennys getting clicked issues, is Lenny!

Free Lenny??....I think Guy did just that!
