On the Washougal broadcast they talked briefly to a guy that
had made the show at all the races so far but hasn't
quite made a point yet. Anyone recall who that is?

Thanks!

He has been close. I really hope he gets some with all the hard work he puts in.

Really seemed like a good guy on the broadcast. Hopefully he can get some points!

He is a good guy. Quit his job in early May to make another run. He ran 250 class a couple of years back for Team Sakai Racing. Great family and good role model for the local kids.

Poor guy, probably his only chancre at on air interview and the showed footage of the track the whole time he was talking.

Kinda felt bad for him.

Really should have a way to get points to all that qualify. Also would take care of the issue with the overalls for those that finish out of the points in the current system

What exactly is the deal with so many people running their bars so far back. If I did that I would crash going to the staging area.

Didn't his dad used to post here or was it on the mototalk board of whatever the name of this was before we swapped over to vital. I've been here a long time but poor memory I guess.

Yep.

Sappy post ahead:

To my way of thinking, anyone that makes the cut and is able to line up at a National is bad ass. The top 10 guys are just a different deal. And for sure I love seeing guys like Weston get a shot. But then there's the whole rest of the field and there's guys like this. I can only ever dream of riding as well as Johnny. He's making the cut each week, probably costing him money to do it, doing it the hard way. What other motivation is there other than you love to race? And that deserves a whole ass-ton of respect. To me, that would just be a dream summer, to say you did something like that. Fugging A, man, keep it up!!!

Thanks Lou and Thanks everyone for the kind words. This is Johnny's last chance at running the nationals. He was working a full time job earlier this year but decided to give it another shot but in the big boys class. He started back in 2010 in the lites class and actually scored points in sx and mx in 2011.Hopefully he can get some points in the last 3 rounds.

keep at it Johnny your day is coming and we're all root'n for you here in the south!

found it kinda a ironic and it actually set me back for a minute that in the same show they talked of a guy that quit his job to go racing and a guy that quit racing to work a job.... what gives???

No worries for Johnny.......that Utah race is coming up and half of the field will have a "DNF", he get points there for sure if he takes the finish flag.

My son and I have watched allot of you tube videos of him and have always pulled for him. I remember watching at Mini Os on a (I think) old KX250 2 stroke and he was fun to watch. Good luck the next rounds team Moore.

Huh? The camera was on him the entire time. And, for a guy who's probably never been interviewed on national TV before, he absolutely killed it.

Johnny is one of our local hero's. He's a great kid from a great family. You should hear him on a two stroke. Man, he can make it sing.

Corners so much better. It's not as comfortable but it's worth it for the speed at the pro level. 140's bars are at the extreme though!
