Got one, haven't tested it yet but have heard good things on the 350sxf... bit fiddly to install, if you can find a 7mm ratcheting spanner it'll make your life easier, after that, filters on and off are good.

The no-toil and twin-airs are pretty similar, don't know if it's worth the extra dosh unless you love twin-air.

So not worth th e 165 for the loudmouth or no toil. Stick with regular air filter. I have seen alot of mixed reviews. Just wanted to see what my fellow Vitals thought!

Def depends on the bike. Like I say I read some reviews on them for the 350 and people said they really livened up the bottom end. Makes sense.

Pretty sure Digger said he didn't think it worked great on his 250SX? Got no idea for yours, hit up TT and have a look.

Or as Tim507, whom I'm assuming is an old bastard from his comment, just train more! haha

Has anyone put the notoil filter on a stock cage ? Wouldn't it work because your not changing the intake part on the bike . Loudmouth intakes do get good reviews from the mags but its a lot of $

Getting dirt in your motor cost a lot of $ too. Loudmouth just isn't a performance item but the larger lip on the ring provides a much better seal. Additional benefit is if you have more than one bike and they're Loudmouth equipped the filters are interchangeable.

I have a loudmouth on my 2007 crf450. Was apprehensive over the price, but these were the days I was turning side jobs so I figured, so what.

Was a llong procedure to put on. Remove airbox and intake boot, but I did it in a Tahoe while my buddy drove to the track. A filter change is super easy, and as mentioned you have absolutely no chance of dirt getting past the sealing surface, unless you flake it off the inside of the box while installing. Get the plastic wash cap and keep your airbox clean. I am a big stickler for air filter cleaning. I have 4 that get cleaned and oiled at the same time, and stay in a plastic bags until install. I change my air filter every ride. That being said, my air boot is completely clean and I have never seen dust or dirt inside the boot since the day I started using it. I am still on the original head and valve guides with 180 hours of mx riding.

I have it on my 250sx and like it. I didn't care to do stock vs loudmouth testing, I got it more because I hate the stock ktm filter setup and possibility of letting dirt in the boot. My bike runs great and is not lacking so I see no negatives other than having to buy it.

I've had the loud mouth on two previous bikes. I loved them. Didn't really feel a performance increase on either bike, but the ease of changing the filter and cleaning the air box was the major selling point for me. No fiddling with the screw trying to put a cap on, just slide the wash cap over the intake and clean away. I plan on getting another one.

Hey bud just revisting mine as I did some other stuff and couldn't find the instructions.

To install yours you just put the plastic boot behind the lip of the inlet inside the boot, then the neoprene gasket, then the metal section and tightened? Ie sandwhiched the lip... Suddenly wondering if it's meant to be drilled and I just auto-piloted it. We were in the midst of our first baby at home when I did it, so was def tired!!!

Awesome so they are worth the money to keep your motor clean easy air filter change! Congrats on the baby! I have a 21 month old son and just had my 2nd baby girl that's 4 weeks old! So I know how you feel I'm beyond tired! So I will take my time on install!

Yes I ran it on my 08 and it worked well. I have used a Loudmouth since 2008 and I will never go back to stock filters. It's also nice to have one filter for everything you own. As already stated the wash cover is a must.
