I'm watching right now! He just lost a stroke to Rory but he's looking good. I love waking up to see a couple of my favorites tied for the lead. Rickie seems to have found his game since working with butch Harmon. I'd love to see him get the win.

Edit: make that two strokes now. Rory just drained a monster putt

Yup. That last shot from the bunker was strong! If he can just finish today without losing anymore ground it should make for an interesting round tomorrow. Rory is just on a roll right now. Maybe dropping Wozniaki was just what the dr ordered, haha

Rorys on a friggin mission, Fowler still in 2nd but 6 strokes behind with 1 moto (day) to go. Talked to Fowler at caselli's glen helen ride day, straight up good guy, wishing him the best in this open!!

That's badass. Very cool of him to honor Kurt at the ride day. I usually try to steer clear of admiring athletes outside of competition, but he seems like one of the genuinely good dudes.

Fowler has been on it all year. Its going to take a collapse by Rory for Fowler to catch him though.

I don't think Rickie choked late so much as Rory made two eagles within 6 holes, that puts a lot of distance in a hurry. Watching Rory dominate is fun, but I'd rather see every major come down to the 72nd hole, or a playoff.

Alright, rickie's got a ton of ground to make up. Hopefully Rory comes back down to earth so this thing will get interesting again. I'm a big fan of both Rory and Rickie but I'm pulling for rickie on this one.

I saw a story yesterday that said that Rory's dad and a couple of friends pooled 700 pounds 10 years ago and got a bookie to give them a 500-1 bet that his then 15 yo son would win the Open by time he was 26.

I read that one, too. Thought it was pretty damn cool.

I think these last holes will be exciting. 3 strokes is just enough to be a huge lead, yet one that can disappear in almost a flash. Not sure how confident I am in Sergio's mental toughness, though.

I'm right there with ya. Sergio is a craftsman with a golf club, but he's really come up short in the past when the pressure is on. I think it would be awesome to see him get it, though. Could be just what he needs to get over that hump and silence some of the critics (myself included).

I came here to let you guys know that golf is non moto, but since you brought two strokes into the discussion I will give you a pass. Wink

I'm in the opposite boat here, even though Rickie is a fan of our sport I've felt bad for Rory ever since his major choke at Augusta in 2011. He deserves this.

Haha. Perhaps I should get back to "moto" topics. Ya know, like transgenders, James' bank account, bitching about TV coverage...those types of "moto" topics.Tongue
