He is using solid bar mounts but more interesting he using Honda steering stabilizer. Maybe
new fork offset or something was too busy at rough track without it?

Having raced budds many times u need a steering stabilizer coming down those hills at that speed and as square edge as the braking bumps get it defiantly helps you relax your grip

The stabilizer is nothing new, several teams run the Honda setup and have been doing so for a while now.

Interesting he would go with a solid setup though. That just makes my forearms hurt thinking about it.

Yeah they've run the steering stabiliser for a while as Jack says, but interesting he switched to solid bar mounts. Those air things were relatively new still.

Kenny the same?

I have been running the honda damper on my 13 450sxf for a while, ride engineering makes the kit. Nothing new, maybe to him though

You all can say what you will but the truth is, a bike is either stable, or it turns well. But not both.

That style damper doesn't do anything until 3-4 degrees from center. Supposed to be beneficial in ruts. I can tell you it gives zero boost in confidence when ripping straight.

The damper's not new, he's been using it for quite a while.

That has to suck for Neken, who's going to pay $731.95, for triple clamps after a muti-time, champ doesn't want to run them.

Cairoli is still running them.

It's very obviously is. Not the first time one has been fitted to a competing brand at the factory level.

Its a Showa steering damper.

Showa sell to most anybody, whether KTM buy it thru Honda is unknown but unlikely.

Hard to shake images of my skull or sternum splitting on that thing when I consider a setup like that.
