I've had my RM in a box for a year or so. Had to put the build on a back burner to fund racing and for the life of me cannot remember where these came out. I had them bagged with the three stator bolts. Inner case bolts? I can't find em in the schematic or manual.

Bolts that long are invariably case bolts.

Could be the bolts that hole the cases together behind the flywheel.

The 3 without the water corrosion are on the right side cover. 1 at 9 o'clock, 1 at 12 o'clock and 1 at 6 o'clock. The one with water corrosion is the bottom right on the water pump housing.

This is correct.

It is difficult to tell in the manuals because of the angles and perspective the drawings are illustrated with....reference size is not always easy to determine.

Yeah only cause my dumbass had to put helicoils in 2 of those locations. Take time once in awhile to spray brake clean and take a small brush and clean the threads. Then use anti seize on bolts, Suzuki's sure seem to have soft metal.

I've had good luck so far. Took every bolt and bearing out to clean and none were stripped. But, the bike was all but new when I got it so nobody had a chance to touch it thank goodness

Yes, they do.

Currently owning an 06 RC replica and an 83 RM 250 (along with others through the years) I can honestly say Suzuki appears to use lower quality metal in many applications. I get flamed for saying it, bet hey, I own them too and facts are facts.

Ignore it at your own peril.
