Where would you go? Im looking at leaving around January for a few months to just ride. Texas is looks to be one of the best places, looking at pictures of swan river and some of the other tracks makes my damn jaw drop. Just wanted to get some more ideas from you guys since I`m not very familiar with the riding in the states..

If you are going for three months, go everywhere in the United States. Start on one coast travel south, then across the continent, north, then back across the continent. You could possible hit 50 different tracks in that amount of time!!!

I am sure you could, but you would stand a good chance of being shot or arrested along the way!

We have 27 tracks within 100 miles of DFW airport in North Texas. The best tracks are Oakhill, Lake Whitney, Swan, Nocona, Village Creek and River Valley.

I would probably go to Teaxs, or the East Coast. A few years ago me, my dad, and some friends went doen to GA, FL area and there are some sweet tracks there. TNT was good, Pax is sweet. I have been to a few in NC/SC area too that were alot of fun too.

Brou France. That track looks like something an LSD tainted artist might come up with. Natural terrain goodness.

Well Texas is sounding pretty damn good, I kinda want to stick to one side b/c of the fuel prices and all. I will have about $20,000 to play with, which may sound like alot, but fuel to go to Texas and back from where I live (Saskatchewan) is $5000. Plus factor in food, $20-$30 track fee to ride everyday, and I`m not sure how much the tracks will charge me to park my camper there for a week or so but I`m sure it wont be too cheap, plus gas for the bike, maintenance, etc. It adds up quick. But, considering I have one track to ride on here which is never groomed or watered, and is like riding on pavement, I would be in heaven riding those Texas tracks! Thanks for the advice guys, I`ll write down the track names, and before I go (probably February) maybe I`ll get a hold of some of you and you can show me the ropes of real motocross!
