You should take your final product to the nationals and give out a couple free sets then it will spread like wildfire.

Man, lot of haters here. If you don't like it don't buy it / kick start it. Pretty simple. With that said "I am out".

As said earlier these are ROUGH sketches. They are only napkin sketches to give us rough ideas for the final gear development. These are not at all final drawings. As stated earlier we are now working with designers to design all our gear. The designers used to work for FOX Racing and One Industries. These rough drawings were just jotting down rough ideas really quick. We now are in the phases of designing the gear and making professional designs and tech packs to send to our manufacturer. We only posted these rough concepts to give the viewers rough ideas that we might incorporate into our designs. If you would take the time to read through our kickstarter page then you would understand all of this.
You need to lay off with the references to other companies, making yourself look extremely lame. . If those sketches are the best you have tossing out there, it's obvious your designers from the companies listed were limited in their job duties to designing cute little origami folded ends on the toilet paper rolls in the evenings.

That gear isn't even a zit on the ass of the worst ever clown color splash gear Fox ever produced.

It's easy to knock things before you know anything about them so let me fill you in about Untamed Power and the gear. The jersey in the picture is only a PROTOTYPE that we manufactured with a company that we are no longer using because of quality issues. The picture is deceiving because the jersey is actually a typical polyester motocross jersey and is very lightweight. This prototype is not going to be used for our gear. Instead, we teamed up with designers out of California that used to work for FOX Racing and One Industries to design, develop, and manufacture our gear. The gear will be the quality of the top name brands out there and will include: sublimated jersey with improved neck collar and graphics, motocross pants with pre-formed knees, inner knee padding, ratchet belt closure, TPR molded logos, sublimated graphics, and motocross gloves that have padded palms, sublimated graphics, reinforced thumb, grip fingertips, TPR molded logo, etc. The designers are also improving items such as the logo, graphic design, etc. The crowd-funding is being used to help us get off the ground and get a great start to this company. The kickstarter page also tells about the company and gear if you read the full kickstarter page. If we are fully funded then we will create and sell the gear and give out sponsorships and rider support to racers. So, before knocking the gear and brand, please ask us questions and read the kickstarter page to find out all of the information about it. Thanks.
With all that said...it's still fugly...

And your confident taking your "skills" to the moto gear industry?? Because your samples look like hell. Better stick to your day job

Yikes, time to go back to the drawing board, literally...

Designers for FOX and ONE? Either they lied to you or this is the reason they no longer work there...

I'm gonna take it easy on you guys and give you some constructive criticism. I suggest you guys change the logo and maybe even the name. For example, look at big companies with one word names like Shift, Fox, Answer, Thor, and O'neal. I suggest you try something like that. Next, drop the logo, its pretty lame. Lastly just make the gear as simple as possible.

Wow, those are terrible. The logo has to go, the name has to be changed, fire the designers & the colors need to be changed. C'mon man, even for a rough sketch those are terrible. This is the last place you shouldve posted those. Untamed Power is a bit cheezy. One word names for any brand name of clothing. It looks & sounds like a Walmart dirtbike brand. You may want to evaluate your buisness plan...

Our designers did not make those sketches. Those were our personal rough sketches that we personally drew up real quick to give the viewers a rough idea of some rough gear concepts. Our designers drawings are not complete yet and haven't been made public at all. They are a professional design firm that specializes in motocross gear and have experience designing for other companies. Again, the drawings and designs they are making for our gear are not finished and haven't been made public yet and are not what the rough sketches show. They made their own design concepts for us and improved things such as our logo and graphic. When they complete everything then we will share it with you publicly but everything you see right now was just sketches up by us personally really quick so we could have rough ideas to show you and not drawn by our design firm.

Then you should probably just delete everything you have ever made, including your logo, name, and designs; and disappear until your extremely credible designers are done. Even Van Gogh can only go so far with a terrible name like Untamed Power and an ugly horse logo.

Take a look at the starting line at this weeks National. This is one of the worst years ever for the ugliest gear ever made. There are some big name riders wearing gear from the sports most successful companies that look like someone puked all over them selves after eating at a Chinese buffet.

I got to be honest, I'm not sure that there's room for another gear company. There have been many try to compete, but went belly up. With the economy being n the toilet, everyone is looking for a way to make a buck. Even if you came up with some badass designs, getting out there and having people buy it, will be a tough thing to do. When you can go online and buy last years gear for $100 (pants/jersey/gloves), it's going to be hard to make any money. As they say on Shark Tank... I'm out !!

I love TLD and have full TLD gear but that galaxy gear is hideous.

Please take a little advice from someone who has been in the apparel business for 25 years. $50,000 will get you a bunch of gear most likely with quality issues you won't be able to correct. If you are able to sell some of it full pop you will end up with incomplete size runs and little to no money to replace the missing product. I wouldn't even consider starting a gear company without a half million to lose and another half to try to keep it going. That might get you out there on a few privateers for a year or two, with little to no paid advertising. That's with you knowing what you're doing designing, grading, and overseeing production in whatever country is sewing. Anyone who tells you that you can hand them $50,000 and they'll make you gear equal to Fox or One is just blowing smoke up your ass.

i have a hard time getting behind a gear company that the main guys don't have any design/concept ability...if that is your designs ideas (rough or not), if you have to go hire someone to create designs for you, your already starting off on the wrong foot in an industry full of people who already do it right. If you designed something new and fresh or innovative....now we're talking.

You're just asking people for money to try and make a gear company with no head start (skills) whatsoever. Underfunded, underskilled....good luck with that. 0 room in that market to break into.

unless you guys got some massive skills at creating gear in some special way at a crazy low cost....GuyB said it best. Crowd funding is cool way to get ideas funded....but EVERYONE can do it so now we're getting flooded with shitty high school business ideas that are unrealistic.

oh and that logo...

think of some of the best gear companies you can think of....and think about what is their strongest part of their brand. It ain't the gear. its the logo. FOX, JT racing, Oneil, AXO, alpinestar....etc. where does that unicorn fit in?

I know he has a snowballs chance in hell of making his company work, but for a bunch of people that claim to love and promote everything motocross, everyone here seems to love putting people down for investing and risking their own time and money into this sport. Constructive criticism is needed. Telling him he should give up because he's a failure just makes you guys all a bunch of assholes.

And I swear to God if you replaced that unicorn logo with a TLD logo half of you pricks would be creaming yourselves over those napkin sketch designs.
