I was quite surprised with Reed's little interview on the TransWorld vid. I expected him to be really sullen and grumpy on his finish.

He was very optimistic and calm, seemed to be in a good place. Hope we can see him race himself into shape and be up there where he knows he can be.

Every time I doubt the guy he comes back stronger. After seeing what he accomplished in SX before the injuries, I have no doubt he'll be on the podium by the midway point.

Only Reed knows how he feels physically. If he can feel that he is only 85%...and still top 10...why would he not be pumped?

I think a top ten by anybody for this first round is good especially somebody coming off injury. 5 rounds in and you need to start to push hard if you want to be in the running.

Like, BobbyM said, Reed knows what he is doing.

I feel the same about Stew. Much like supercross, bad races aren't going to cut it..not against Dungey.

Reed and Stewie both are going to have to figure it out quickly to have a shot at this title.

You guys always against other nationalities coming over and showing what's up, you guys only have to travel so far but for us to get out of Australia and to get overseas is such a huge accomplishment, but you insightful God bless America never been out of your country to see other cultures and the rest of the world, well we laugh at you cause all you ever learn about is America, and well, let's just look at your past governments, all the wars and people lost, for what, the people in politics companies to cash in and make a furtune, I really do feel sorry for your lack of education on the rest of the world, and yes, I have spent 10 years in yours and other countries, so fire up people, but look at the world map and tell me where you been, 1st post so let's see how it goes

I am a huge Reed fan and have nothing but the greatest respect for what he's done and will do. It's not a country thing, it's a person thing. Reed would be a gritty, tough, and accomplished man regardless of where he was born.

Thank you, but he is from Australia and like many of us has sacrificed a lot to get out of here and over there, just seems like you all take it for granted, how about you guys all leave your family, friends and go overseas with just a dream and the believe that you can make it, sure you guys look at what you got but will never understand the dreams and commitment that it takes to get there form the other side of the world, I don't disrespect the moto side of things in your country, I praise them, but what you are told about governments and the wars you are fighting?
